Five Below — Attraction in Springfield

This morning about an hour ago I went into the Springfield NJ store on route 22. As I was checking out my card declined I was in a card only check out. So, I said to the woman excuse me but I need help. I 1st said Good Morning then I explained to the lady that my card declined & I wanted to pay cash.

In her response she asked me if I would like to try again I said no so she snatched my bag then went to another check that accepted cash she removed the things in the bag and slammed them on the register to let me know she was upset.

I only responded to her question I said nothing more. I don’t understand why she reacted this way. I know we are in the middle of a crisis with this pandemic and all but I too work without stop in the crisis and never not once ☝️ was I rude to anyone because WE have to remember we are still amongst the LIVING!

We are living in a time to be GRATEFUL not to be rude or anything! You would think with everything going on KINDNESS towards each other she be 1st natural!

On Sunday, I encountered a rather unpleasant situation at the Springfield store just before closing time. At approximately 6:55 p.m., I attempted to enter briefly to purchase a charger. I was promptly confronted by a very discourteous staff member—an individual whose presentation was markedly unkempt and masculine in appearance. She informed me, quite rudely, that the store was closed. When I respectfully noted that the time was still before 7:00, and I only needed a single item, she became unnecessarily hostile.

She proceeded to raise her voice and behaved in a loud, disruptive manner, berating not only myself but other customers as well. Her aggressive tone and lack of professionalism were both startling and deeply inappropriate. The entire interaction exuded a sense of chaos and disrespect, reflecting poorly on the establishment and its standards for...

These guys just have great stuff all the time. And at $5 Target price, they can actually offer some decent stuff if they source it right. these headphones are going to go over very big next door with the little girls who live next to me, they're just crazy for unicorns. A note about their phone cables, I haven't seen such good quality in a long long time and at $5 and a little bit each they're a really good quality cable and they last. Get the metal woven ones that's why I come in here but then I end up buying all this silly stuff for my dog and these little kids I...
