Funcity Trampoline and Adventure Park — Attraction in Springfield

So I waited to see if I would hear back from anyone. I emailed a few times… even tried reaching out through Facebook with no response and I called with no response either so This review is based off my experience with a Birthday party we had here. So one let me state for the price that you pay to have a party here everything should have been ready and should have been taking cared of. Our party was booked for 30 kids between the hours of 6-8. They were supposed to call me the day before to confirm the table clothes and other things but was never called. So I called just to confirm a few things. I was told I could come 10-15 minutes before the party to set up decorations. I got there for 6. Went to our party room and is was disgusting. The trash was over flowing from the trash bin there was cake smeared on the mini fridge… the floor had what looked like crushed up chips and cookies and goldfish crumbs all over the place and there was a big pile of spilled soda on the floor with paper napkins all over . It took them 15-20 minutes to clean up the mess. My guest started showing up. I had no decorations up. My guest were standing there while I tried to decorate. Then we were supposed to have a designated host for our party but I had to go look for her 4 times. Then they were supposed to bring the 6-7 pizzas around 7:30. I waited but our party was ending at 8 it was 7:45 still no pizza and no host. So I walked to the front counter and to my surprise our pizza has been sitting on the counter. I went and asked and went to grab the pizza and the lady grabbed the pizza and said I got it. Told her we’ve been waiting so I grabbed 3 pizzas from her and she said she’ll follow me and bring the rest. So I stared walking turn around she’s not behind she had put the pizza down to attend something which was aggravating because we had already been waiting. So I sent my daughter to grab the pizza because at this point I’m highly annoyed. She then again grabbed the pizza from her and told her it’s ok I went back and told her no it’s not. Finally we got the pizza but it was COLD! The bathroom were gross…. There was no soap or any hand sanitizer which should be a must. I was not happy at all and tried to reach out for a resolution but they have yet to respond to any of my email or messages. So that is the reason for the low rating. I will NEVER have another party here. I will be filing...

I typically don’t leave negative reviews, but I feel compelled to share my experience on some concerning issues at this business.

Despite advertising free Wi-Fi, I was informed, literally after paying for hours of visit for my two children—that Wi-Fi is not available. As a full-time student and mother, I specifically chose this location with the intention of studying while my kids played. Without Wi-Fi, my laptop was essentially useless and I wouldn’t have come here had I known that in advance.

The employees were kind and apologetic, and they genuinely didn’t know the password, explaining that their manager does not permit anyone to use it. When I asked to speak with the manager, she eventually came out and explained that the facility’s machines and equipment rely on the Wi-Fi. That’s understandable, but in that case, the website should not advertise Wi-Fi as a customer amenity. A simple fix, like a separate guest router, could resolve this.

After a lengthy and unnecessary back-and-forth, the manager finally entered the password herself into my phone, and I was able to study for the remainder of our time, but this whole situation could have easily and wholeheartedly been avoided with basic customer consideration.

In addition, I received a 10% military discount upon paying for the first two hours and was told I could return to extend our time at any point. However, when I went back to add an hour, I was charged not only for the additional hour but also for the amount previously discounted. The employee explained that the system automatically re-adds the discount as a charge when extending time and that only a manager can override it. That’s both absurd and unfair to customers, and frankly embarrassing for the staff, who are left with no authority to solve these issues at the service desk.

It’s disappointing to see a local business run this way. Management appears out of touch with both customer service and the basic tools needed for staff to do their jobs effectively. Went to Fun City Monday 8/12 with my two kids and their older sister , her mom and her cousin. I’m currently 7 months pregnant and couldn’t be with my toddler to assist ,so his sisters cousin played with him. The place closed at 9 , we finished the waiver and payment around 7:45 and paid for the last hour . The front desk representatives (who were very helpful in another issue we had) stated the kids will be fine playing till 9 when they close. Around 8:20 the employees started cleaning up. I was sitting at one of the tables watching my kids play and the employee is spraying his cleaning solution all around me. Could care less I was sitting there. Then they started mopping up the different play areas while my kids and other kids are still playing. The cousin who was assisting with my toddler was trying to walk him over to where I was at and as she was walking him the employee was right behind her mopping and hitting the mop head against her feet. Not even given her time to walk my son out of the way. I’m still sitting at the table and he’s mopping where the mop head is hitting at my feet. Mind you there’s still 20 or so minutes left till close. We finally decided to just leave because you can tell they obviously didn’t want us there , even though we paid for our time till closing. This was super unprofessional and unsafe. I would hate for anyone to have fallen and got hurt. Also be considerate, while I get people want to go home , you’re site and signs on the door states closing time is at 9 PM and this should be fully honor . What makes it bad is these kids went out this day , as they had just two days prior had to bury their father. This was supposed to be a way to help them have some type of fun outside all the sadness we are all experiencing with this lost. I don’t think I will be back again as this experience left a bad...
