Liberty Pizza — Restaurant in Springfield

I love ordering from here. Their food is almost always fresh and very good. They're small restaurant is not really for dine in. You place an order to go. I usually have mine delivered.

The pizzas are excellent. I've bought them many times for my family and friends and everyone loves them. My favorite is the Liberty special.

My favorite things to get here are the fish, barbecue chicken wings, pizzas, and veggie quesadilla. Their grinders are good as well. Their sauces are excellent. They're not cheap. Some of their dipping sauces are Ken's brand, which I love.

I used to love their gyros but the last time I ordered them with a group of friends, and bragged about how good they were, they ended up tasting terrible. We literally picked the meat out and just ate the pita with the lettuce, tomatoes and tzatziki sauce. The gyro meat was really dry and flavorless, it looked like it was freezer burn. It was barely grilled. To make it worse, you can tell they ran out of meat because there was almost no meat in our gyros. It looked like they were trying to make as many gyros they could with the little bit of meat left. I prefer if they called us to change our orders. I called to let them know this but they did not offer to replace it. I haven't ordered the gyro since and likely never will.

This is by far the worst experience I have ever had ordering a pizza in my life. Quality of food is lacking greatly, service lacking even greater. Upon ordering our pizza at their location, all the employees were yelling and screaming at each other. They messed up our pizza and when we called to get it replaced they refused to deliver it to us, so we opted to wait a day or two when we felt like picking it up they practically called us liars until we reminded them of their fight we witnessed. Upon picking up our pizza, we were once again greeting with angry irate staff. When we grabbed our pizza and walked out, one of the staff members comes out to tell us we were rude instead of apologizing. And once again, the quality was garbage. Don’t waste your time...

Best Pizza! I live less then two miles from this place for a few years now and decided to finally stop in and give them a try a few weeks ago...I ordered a party size three topping pizza for 21 bucks from them with a clipless coupon #8.....well worth the money! The pizza is amazing, very fresh, very DELICIOUS!! The make sure the toppings are all the way to the edges not giving you a lot of crust and wasting your money like some places. I have been getting a party pizza weekly since. I will never go any where else again!! This truly is great pizza. Try it at least once and you will definitely go back again!!!!!
