This restaurant is a very hidden gem! My girl-friend and I strolled in today on our lunch break and we're from NY so it was today or never. We came as soon as doors opened, literally. As soon as she opened the doors we were greeted so warmly by our hostess. The decorations and ambiance of the place was incredible! . It was very clean and even the women's bathroom was decorated so beautifully (see image below). We didn't smell any of the food when we walked in, their ventilation must be up to par (I would not be surprised) The lady who helped us out with some of the food was so nice and caring, even considering our language barrier! It was awesome. Now onto the food. Guys I'm not even bluffing when I say all my girlfriend and I could say was "this is really good" or "omg". I kid you not that's all the came out of our mouths while eating their food. Holy, their food is scrumptious and cooked to perfection. The chef/s really did put both feet in all of the food! (It's an expression) There is not one thing we did not like. Their tres leches is to die for! Their beef stew tasted exactly like my late grandmothers, it was very delicious and uncanny. They also had very great music choices, playing hits from Juanes and more, which reminded me of my childhood. It was really great. HOWEVER back to my original comment, this restaurant does not belong here at all. Not only is everything else in this plaza run down and sloppy looking, but we witnessed not one but TWO grand theft autos!! In a span of 2 hours. There was also the same folks scoping out the ride we came in!! Strange town, will not be back to stay but we will one thousand percent be back to Mesa Buffet. 11/10 recommend. Also, not bad in price for the amount of delicious food you can eat! It was 50$ for...
Read moreIt all started July 22, 2018. We wanted to have a good family meal together on a beautiful Sunday. We went in the restuarant to be greeted by a long unsatisfying line. The workers had given me an attitude when I specifically asked them for a family of 8, but they tried to say I had mentioned 5. Now on to the seating. We had finally gotten our seat after about 20 minutes of waiting for our table. They asked us what we had wanted for beverages. I answered back with sprite, coca cola and apple juice for my 4 year old. They came back with one sprite one coca cola and lemonade (which no one had asked for). The waitresses were of no good to me. They gave nothing but attitudes, eaves dropped on our conversations about politics of course and rolled their eyes at our request of refills. A waitress had bumped into me with a tray and told me to get out of the way. The AC for me to critic had not worked and dripped water on our heads and table. The food was stale, cakes and muffins were hard and very dry, food would run out very rapidly, the workers would push others to get around, and many people would say it were their birthdays every ten minutes and the noise was very loud increasing my migraine. They only had given us forks, we had asked for a spoon and they had told us to go around and look for some my self. (With a very disturbing, scarring, scary voice). In summary do not part take in this establishment and hear out my warnings this was my worst expierence and I am not very picky. TRUST IN ME, BE WARNED AND GO ELSE WHERE TO FILL YOUR BEAUTFIUL CHERISHED FAMILIES’ BELLIES! Thank you.. and by the way it was actually my birthday and it was all ruined...
