I will give stop and shop delivery 2 stars ONLY because my order is always right and the drivers are nice. But I have never had an order delivered within the time frame I chose. One order was 3 1/2 hours late. Again my order will be late, and when I called customer service she was very pleasant but basically said there's nothing we can do...even after I explained that I had to go to a Dr appointment which I purposely scheduled 2 hours after my delivery was due. I asked for them to just leave my order on the front porch, which is enclosed, and she said they won't do that either. She told me that if I wasn't here when they finally showed up, my order would be returned to the store and I would have to order all over again...EVEN THOUGH THEY ARE THE ONES AT FAULT!!!! I take care of my elderly mother so I can't just go traipsing to the store or believe me, I wouldn't keep ordering delivery from this service. It may be perfect for other people, but I would never recommend stop and shop delivery...
Read moreIt's been hard getting used to this Stop and Shop. We are so used to the Long meadow store and when we come here now it feels like the store is almost backwards. I did notice a few products that I usually buy at the other store I can't find in this store? I will get used to it soon...change is hard for most people. Everyone that I have met that works there has been very helpful and pleasant. I have to say I was impressed by the most beautiful roses they had on Friday!! I just stopped and stared at them because they were so beautiful and they looked fake. They had placed the display of these roses at the end of the card isle.... I think they were about a half dozen? definitely not sold as a dozen. The white roses we're gorgeous and very inexpensive!! What a great job from the floral...
Read moreI’ve been shopping at the Stop & Shop in Springfield, MA for a while now, and unfortunately, the experience keeps getting worse. The store is consistently understaffed, which means long lines at checkout and very few employees around the aisles if you need help. Even when you do find someone, they often seem poorly trained or unsure of how to assist.
Service is painfully slow, both at the registers and the deli section. It feels like there’s no sense of urgency or accountability. On top of that, the shelves are frequently understocked—it’s not unusual to find key everyday items missing, even during regular hours.
I try to be patient and understanding, but this store really needs better management and more support for its staff. Until then, I’ll be doing my...
