Men's Wearhouse — Attraction in Springfield

I've had a couple of occasions to use the Men's Wearhouse here in Springfield over the past year, and I've gotta say, it's been a pretty solid experience. The first time, I was in a real jam and needed a suit for a last-minute wedding. More recently, I was helping my nephew get fitted for his prom tuxedo. Both times, the staff there really came through. What stands out to me the most is the customer service. It can get a little hectic in there, especially on a Saturday afternoon, but the employees are always hustling and trying to help everyone. During my suit hunt, a woman (I believe her name was Christina, who might be the manager) was incredibly helpful. She listened to what I was looking for, helped me find a great suit that didn't break the bank, and got me over to the tailor for some quick alterations. The whole process was smoother than I expected. When it came to the tuxedo rental for my nephew, they were really patient with him, which was great to see. They walked him through all the options and made sure he got a modern fit that he felt good in. The tux looked sharp, and all the pieces were there when we went to pick it up. Now, it's not always perfect. I did have to wait a bit to get help on that busy Saturday, so if you're in a hurry, you might want to try going on a weekday. Also, a friend of mine mentioned that he had some sizing issues with a rental for a wedding he was in, so my advice is to definitely try everything on in the store before you leave. Overall, though, I'd recommend the Springfield Men's Wearhouse. They've got a great selection, from casual stuff to formal wear, and the staff really knows their stuff. Worst experience ever!!! Now I've been in weddings before and everything went GREAT, granted i chose a different establishment then, but the groom chose Men's Warehouse for his wedding because of all the great reviews. Well so we thought, almost a month and a half before the wedding we went to get fitted, the whole wedding party was ignored for almost the first 30 mins of being there, apparently prom comes before wedding party's or anyone looking to spend some money. After being fitted we were told we had to wait two days before the wedding to pick it up! Fast forward to today(2 days before the ACTUAL WEDDING), we go to try on tuxes and mine is too big! So i was told that all they could do was order another one in and have it day of wedding, which required me driving 45 Miles again or try to make the one i have work! So with no choice left and not wanting to chance the second one being wrong as well, we settled with making the one we had work with VERY LITTLE adjustments. There was a sweet older lady who did her best to make things work, as everyone else hid in back or played around waiting for closing time, how unprofessional! Was not offered a discount, or any compensation for my DRIVE,TIME or MONEY I spent!! There was not even a manager to speak to, and the assistant manager would not even come talk to us, he made the new employee deal with us!! From what she told me it was her first week there! By far the worst manager I have ever dealt with in my life. The lady in charge of the rentals is absolutely too notch! The manager tells my wedding party he will be there between 4 and 6 PM so my groomsmen can pick up their tuxedos because they say a transformer blew! Weird the entire strip mall had power besides them and when you went in the music was on with other lights. This guy doesn't show up until 545 after the groomsmen left work early to get there so they waited for over an hour. They called me and told me what was going on. I showed up at 650 and he says i can't leave with the tuxes until he calls the groomsmen and gets them to pay the remaining balance. This is 2 days before my wedding and I was trying to get things done but I told him I would take the tuxes to them since he could not show up when he said he would. He has another customer come in for a pickup and leaves me waiting as he helps them. Then he starts calling the groomsmen and it is taking forever so i tell him i will pick them up in like 30 minutes, I had other places to go. He said oh no I am leaving after they pay and you can come to my house to pick it up. After telling this guy that is not going to work he said you can leave my store then!
