THE PERFECT HAIR CUT Yeah, I’m a man, but I get anxious with people touching my hair. I’ve been going to the Refinery Barbershop since June of 2014. Simply put, it was the best haircut I’ve received from any stylist. PERIOD.

Before we began, Dayna willing sat with me as I showed her photo-after-photo of men who had bits and pieces of their hair style that I wanted to be seen in my own. I’m elementary to hair lingo, and with what little vocabulary I have, I tried to convey to her which parts and what kinds of cuts I desired.

Once the cape was thrown over me, I began feeling a little timid. “please… just please be the one barber who understands what I’m asking.”

From the beginning, Dayna would cut, look through the mirror at my hair, and then shift her glance at me asking, “Alright, how’s that look? Cut a little shorter? How much? Of which photo are we trying to match here?” Then, she'd continue silently cutting my hair until it replicated the photo.

After it was all said and done, Dayna vacuumed me down (which was a first and extremely relaxing), and went onto to answer another question; which pomade was best for me. As she finished, She taught me about texture, which pomades worked with where I currently live and whats "hot" and whats "not" in different temperatures and humidity. I asked her about my hair; she responded accordingly. I asked her about the styles I wanted to try; again, she responded accordingly.

As she “turned the chair around”, I stood up and two things occurred; (1) that the collection of photos I had shown here were meticulously combined together, resulting in the exact image I had in mind for my own hair and (2), a huge hug to Dayna while I set up one of MANY APPOINTMENTS TO COME.

The Refinery Barbershop is focused not on results, but experience. Dayna was tremendously involved in keeping me happy in two ways; (1) while I was in the chair and (2) when I left the parlor knowing that everyday afterwards I was looking and feeling like a million bucks. Focusing on my experience only resulted in one thing; a hereby-loyal customer.

In my opinion, the Refinery Barbershop will soon have too many clients to handle and thereby begin waits that I feel every customer will happily make.

Its what everyone wants in a haircut… and that is why, being open for only a couple of months, they’re seeing “overnight” success.

Thank you again Dayna....

Horrible customer service.my husband and I went with our kids and were thrown out because his ex wife was there and her and her boyfriend know the owner we went for the trunk or treat car show did absolutely nothing but walk around with the kids and then were asked to leave because who knows why other then adults feeling uncomfortable that we were there around exes so very high school childish of them .drive all the way from eagle mountain for our kids to have fun and we’re there maybe 15 minutes.to make kids feel like they did something wrong when they didn’t is absolutely insane especially over something so petty like this .just because you know someone that owns a place doesn’t mean you get to kick someone out because they don’t get along with another customer that’s crazy let’s act like grown adults and think of the kids. So thanks Keri banbury for kicking your own 3 kids out of a place because you’re...

I work for a day program providing services to adults with special needs. They were very excited to go and see all the old motorcycles but I failed to notice when I looked them up that there is a cost. We got there, unloaded 12 individuals, walked through the restaurant and got to a gate with a sign saying we had to pay. We started walking out and they were very disappointed. I asked a girl behind the counter how much it cost to go through and she said to go ahead and take them back no charge. They were so happy and really enjoyed looking at the cool stuff. Thank you for your kindness and making my special friends happy and turning their frowns into smiles! I will be bringing my family to check it out and happily pay the fee and try the cafe that had what looked like really yummy food and an...

Legends motorcycle museum gets 4 stars because: 1. It's a unique way to experience the history of motorcycles in the U.S. 2. The displays are artfully and interestingly done 3. There is PLENTY to see - the art upstairs, the historic motorcycles throughout, the antique tools and newspaper clippings. It's cool! 4. 1 star docked because I would have loved more information on each piece and time period. I think more history kiosks or even tied to an app that you can scan QR codes and read more would be fun. It's great but I was thirsty for more details.

This is a fun one. While driving back from Springville I stopped at Legends. What a blast from the past! What an extensive collection of old motorcycles, cars and fun things from the past. We had lunch next-door at the adjoining Side Car Café. Where we had a BLT sandwich and Man was that good too! I think this is a great place to take the family and burn a couple hours. It was definitely an enjoyable afternoon.
