When shipping something, be sure to triple check that everything is correct before signing anything. My husband read the address to the employee at the UPS Store who then typed it in wrong, unbeknownst to my husband. When the UPS Store employee told him to check the info and sign, he thought he was verifying his personal information. Since the employees type in the address to where your package is going, creating the shipping label, it means youâd better be sure they did it right. Because even though their employee typed it in wrong and our package was returned to us, the UPS Store refuses to take any responsibility. Despite the fact that the UPS Store employee did it wrong, the UPS store management says thereâs ânothing they can doâ because he signed on the line. Nobody ever informed him that he needed to make sure the address being sent to was correct or that if anything went wrong that the UPS Store will refuse to help in any way whatsoever. All he was told was to sign that his information was correct. Even when itâs very clear that their own employee made the mistake, UPS Store management will hide behind that signature and happily keep your money. Talk about read the fine print. Apparently, you have to know the right questions to ask as well. Now weâre stuck paying to ship it for a second time. Itâs very clear that the UPS Store is accustomed to this situation and use it to their advantage. How convenient to have your employee type in the address on your behalf, then hastily tell you to âcheck your info and sign the bottomâ leaving the customer to believe that all is well. I got an amazon package delivered here because they came once to my house and I wasnât home so I called and they said to wait until the next day. then the following day I got a text saying my package was delivered to the store and was ready to be picked up. There was a proof of delivery and who it was received by. Went in that afternoon because I got the text at 12:22 pm. got off of work at 2:15 and went in round that time. was told they donât have it and to try again tomorrow. So I called customer service and they said Iâd have to call amazon to find my package. and they couldnât do anything to locate my package because to them it also showed it was available for pickup. then called amazon and they said to them it showed it was on the way to be delivered. so i had to wait. Called in the next day because on Amazon it says late delivery contact ups. So i called the Springville store again and told them my name, they said it wasnât there to try again tomorrow.    Read moreI wish I could give 0 stars for this. I have tried since September 2022 to get UPS to process a claim that started in Springville. The person that put the address in put it as a residence and not a business so UPS changed the address from 2306 to 3306 and left the package on someone's doorstep! But the tracking didn't even show that for months! I have tried everything even talking to the manager in Springville personally several times and emailing ( emails are ignored BTW) and she just refers me to the Orem hub or tells me that she has restarted the claim. I have spent hours on the phone with UPS and they won't do anything anymore because now after all the time spent asking for help mostly not being able to get anyone to answer a phone "even at the Orem hub" which she handed me their number and said to call them because she couldn't help me but they can. From EVERYONE I could think of it is past the time frame. I tell a new person the problem and I am promised a callback by the claim dept. a supervisor ect. and nothing. If you HAVE TO USE UPS go to another town!!! This store is the worst! The lines are out the door and the poor "kids they hire to work work the front" are swamped and can't even do their job right! They need to hire more people to handle...
