We had our wedding here in the garden in September, though we loved working with Gina from beginning to end, and the place was beautiful, but the staff that was there for the actual event was TERRIBLE TO US. From the beginning they made us feel unwelcome, when I tried to ask about moving some chairs around, the girl rolled her eyes at me and walked away. So we stopped asking them to help us! They had a “bridal room and grooms room” to get ready in, but they had to unlock the museum doors to let us in and out every time, and the staff ladies got mad at us every time we had to go to the room, they actually stopped some of my bridesmaids from coming down to help me get ready!!! And they yelled at one of my groomsmen for coming to help me too. On top of that, they actually blocked people from getting in to the kitchen when they were trying to prepare the food for us!!!! Then, my uncle who is from out of state tried to bring in a cup of alcohol not knowing they don’t allow it. They stopped him at the door and he nicely understood and turned around immediately, and still the lady came and stopped me on the dance floor to tell me that we’d be losing our deposit because of that!! IN THE MIDDLE OF THE WEDDING, in front of all of our guests. She loudly complained, as if we could control all of our guests. Everyone talked about it the rest of the night. We cleaned up and got out 20 minutes before the deadline, but still they complained about our music and how fast we were cleaning up. They acted like we were a burden from the start and we paid good money to be there. The venue was beautiful and we had a great wedding, but I was disappointed by the way the...

I would agree that the location in beautiful. I had my wedding there and wouldn't recommend it, due to the lack of communication from the Event Coordinator GINA. They do provide tables and chairs but do not tell you that the chairs that they have are not able to go on the grass. Gina's hours are not convenient and she came off nice at first but seemed to be making up rules by the end. She had told us if the weather was bad that we would be able to move the event inside for $100.00 if needed. Weeks before I had set up 4 seating charts one set for inside (ceremony and reception) and one outside. The DAY OF MY WEDDING we needed to move the reception inside due to weather, she had told me that there would be an additional $100.00 fee for having a Ceremony (she knew we were going to have one previously.) She also told me that I was going to have to pay an additional $200.00 to use the outside (which is the contract I had already fully paid for.) Gina seemed to be pulling out all sorts of excuses on why the $200.00 was needed (That is why I paid the original price.) She seemed very inconvenienced with the issue and wasn't very nice. It just so happens that you have to pay a $300.00 deductible at the beginning of the reservations. They do this on purpose I don't recommending working with her in any way and expect to pay more for what the asking price is. I have met others that have had a lot of issues with the venue as well. I hopes this helps you from making decisions for your...

A great collection of Utah and American art, as well as a unique collection of Russian art from the Soviet Era. Exhibitions are well done and accessible to all age groups and audiences through easy-to-read gallery guides and labels that encourage you to ask questions and connect with the art. The building itself is absolutely stunning as well, built in a Spanish Colonial style with warm stucco walls, beautiful red and brown tiled floors, dark wood, brass chandeliers, and archways. The sculpture garden is also quite beautiful and serene. The staff is very friendly, knowledgeable, and welcoming. Exhibitions change frequently--there's something new to see at least every three months, so no two visits are ever the same! There are also plenty of spaces throughout the museum with interactive art experiences and activities for children, and the museum hosts lots of community and family programs and activities throughout the year. Truly a beautiful place, an incredible experience for all ages, and well...

BEST RECEPTION CENTER - My daughter was married in August, and it was the best experience! Gina was a delight to work with planning the reception, and the day of, the girls that were assigned to help us were so professional and helpful! We had a slight rainstorm blow through as we were setting up, but it was supposed to pass before the reception started and we had to make some quick decisions. Megan and Janet jumped in to offer solutions and bent over backwards to assist and make sure everything went as smoothly as possible! I can't imagine a better team! Also, they let our caterer take over the kitchen and it was so well-equipped that it made her job so much easier! I am so thankful to everyone at the museum that helped us put this beautiful day together and I would definitely recommend them for any special event!!

I didn’t even know this place existed. What a beautiful museum. My daughter had an assignment for school to go to a museum with sculptures. This was the closest museum. It’s a beautiful museum with beautiful paintings, sculptures and a cute sculpture garden. I would never have known about this place If her teacher never suggested it. The building was in a great location however Google takes you to the side of the building where there’s no parking and hard to find the door. So drive past the building to the next turn on the east side and you’ll see the huge parking lot. I loved the local art and the way the rooms were designed. My favorite part was definitely the sculpture garden. It had beautiful sculptures and a beautiful garden for pictures. I will definitely return again.
