Security really duced in the bucket here on me. I get here "around shift change" and am told they'll call me once shipping calls them back. Note my trailer is already loaded on an outbound. I wait 1.5 hours for a call from security, yeah nothing. I call them and ask if shift change is done, they say "oh yeah, it is, go back to door 5". Cool, I get back there and have to ask what took so long, shipping tells me security just now called and the bills have been ready the whole time... Bucket on head...
This place will want a washout receipt with the same day dated on the receipt, funny if you sleep on your trailer overnight with it washed then come back, they'll tell you to get another washout (per security, I asked) which is just plain dumb. They want the receipt but won't even look in the trailer.... Bucket on head moment again.
I finally drive across town to their loaded lot which is a mess of mud, broke down trucks, and torn up road. Go to pickup my trailer and the seal number doesn't match the bills, yay me, another bucket on the head.
No matter what truck drivers will always be second rate to shippers and receivers, no laws requiring them to pay us for out lost resources (time being one of them). The loads out of here always pay bunk so I'm questioning ever dealing with them again.
On with my day. I'm expected to do my job safely and efficient, is anyone at these plants expected to do the same?
Big plus and I will shout out that the actual plant staff were all nice. No issues with them, we'll short of the facility being really tight but that's a builder issue not a...

I told her I was there to pick up a load and she told me to wait outside very dismissively and we will call you when the load is ready The whole ordeal...

Overnight parking available, got a door assignment an hour ahead of my scheduled appointment time, unloading took slightly longer than expected but was acceptable at right around an hour.
They text and call you for your door assignment, and bring your paperwork out to you when you're empty. Make sure your red gladhand is back on all the way, they lock it out while you're in the dock.
Couldn't ask for a...
