The gateway arch national museum is a must visit for anyone visiting St. Louis. It is such an inconic symbol of the American expansion to the west. The museum has been recently remodeled, modernized and is free! Be prepared for airport style security. The exhibits are thoroughly researched and provide an excellent overview of the history of St. Louis and the westward expansion. I liked that it provided insight into the Native Americans living in the land. I highly recommend buying tickets in advance for going up the arch. There is a cafe inside the museum that serves coffee and some food, nothing extraordinary. There are ranger programs throughout the day. The park grounds are well maintained. The parking is difficult to find, so plan ahead of the tram time....

Gateway Arch Visitor Center – 5/5 The visitor center was clean, well-organized, and much bigger than I expected. The museum inside is excellent, with engaging exhibits about westward expansion, the history of St. Louis, and how the Arch was built. Staff were friendly, knowledgeable, and happy to answer questions. Everything was easy to navigate, with clear signs leading to the tram entrance and park. Amenities like restrooms, seating areas, and the gift shop were well-maintained. Overall, the visitor center added so much to the experience and made our visit even...

You need to use the visiting center to access the tram rides for the arch, so this is the building you need to go to. If you come inside, you will be going through security, so be mindful of that. Free entry. So even if you don't plan to get tickets for the arch or that kinda stuff, it's still worth stopping in to...

The Gateway Arch was so fun I went to the top and you can see St. Louis and the Mississippi River. The tram ride was cool and a lot of cool photo opportunities. The shops were cool and not that expensive. The museum was ok
