AMC Majestic 6 — Attraction in Stamford

They seem very disorganized. Yes the staff is friendly. But.. That's about it.

I know their menu is condensed due to covid issues. Not enough staff to cook etc. So I went in to ask if pizza will be available by the night time when my screening started at 730 so I can eat dinner while I watch. The manager said if I order before 745 I'll get my pizza. So I get there at 710 and they said no pizza. And the same manager said sorry, we don't do pizza around this time. So I ended up ordering just fried food to hold us off. I guess it could've been worse but.. Come on. Stick to a time frame and honor the system. Don't be making up hope. It looks lazy to me.

Nobody as there to scab our tickets. Stood there for a few minutes. Finally, guy comes out to scan our atom app but it won't work. Tried five times. Asked me to scan by the door so I did and worked. Hmmm inefficient.. Definitely an inconvenience carrying all my food and stuff.

Anyways. Fast forward to trailers. The lights dimmed but shortly after the lights went bright as if movie has ended. Nobody in the theater said anything but we all noticed something was wrong. Down to the last trailer and I finally went out to tell the manager about the situation. They acted quick but just seemed.... Unorganized. That's never happened before! They claimed it to be "today's technology, can be finicky." eh

Sorry guys. Just need to speak to what happened. Movie was great! But the experience prior just seemed...

The theater was way too loud (and I am not one to complain about loud music/noise). I had a headache after leaving. It’s never been as loud at a movie theater I’ve been too before. I even asked one of the workers to lower the volume during the ads/previews. He said he would talk to the manager but I did not notice a difference.

If you go I suggest bringing ear plugs.

Note that I’ve only been there once and for a matinee. Maybe it is not always so loud (although the movie I watched “once upon a time in Hollywood” was not one that needed to be loud). There were also few people in the theater.

Price was good for the matinee ($11). Seats were comfortable with reclining Chairs Although they did not decline as much as other theaters I’ve been too. The theater was also pretty clean even though they are in the middle of...

Had the worst experience with the manager named Ty. He came up to us stating that we were being loud even when we were in the bathroom and had just sat down. He was very hostile and when we asked him who complained he gave us a warning to not harass any of the customers in the theater. He then followed us back in to the theater and said “you could’ve left it at that but you had to come following behind me.” He was very unprofessional and called the cops 😭😭?? In the end, we asked for his name and we walked out the theater. HE THEN came following behind us even when we had already left and asked “did you ask for me?” Mind you we are not inside anymore. Very unprofessional and made it seem like he was about to fight us..?? Anyways don’t come to this movie theater it’s so...
