Alrafidyn Restaurant — Restaurant in Sterling Heights

Went here a couple times before this visit and the food was fantastic, however my visit today was a mess. Before I even get to how the order was incorrect, I should note that numerous staff members working the cash register and in the kitchen were not wearing masks at all. I’ve seen plenty of places now where the staff just wear their masks incorrectly, but I’ve never seen staff so blatantly not care about the mask mandates. Especially when some of those staff appear to be management.

I brought my food home and realized they forgot one of our sandwiches, and the other three sandwiches they gave us were not at all like what we ordered last time, even though we ordered the exact same thing. I called and complained and told them exactly what I thought I was supposed to be getting, and they told me to come right up and get the correct order. When I returned home with the remake, I realized they served me the exact same incorrect order as the first visit time.

Im frustrated now that even after explaining exactly what I thought I was supposed to get, they still served me the exact same incorrect item. Frankly while the food is good (when it’s right) it’s just not worth the hassle or safety issues dealing with the staff at this restaurant.

Edit: my mom has eaten some of her sandwiches now and found a small bit of black plastic in one of them. We will definitely not...

I used to order from this place many times the guy used to know me but one day they messed up my order I didn’t check I had to go home which I live 20 mins away I check they made mistake with my order I called the guy I told him he goes I can’t do anything unless you come back and bring it and actually that day was rainy day and bad but I went back the guy takes my food and throw it in trash in front of me with angry rude way and goes I’ll make you new one so basically you throw the food in trash but didn’t say don’t worry come back next time I’ll make it up since that day I have never came to that place and I used to spend top dollar every time buying trays they lost me because of that throwing food in trash but can’t say don’t worry I’ll make it up for next time that’s horrible thing I ever seen especially to someone who used to order everyday and it wasn’t my fault if I made mistake in order I wouldn’t even have been upset but their the one who made mistake and did that to me made me drive all the way back in rainy traffic day and just to...

I was introduced to this restaurant after the gym one evening. I have been hooked on the food ever since! I eat here 1-2 times a week since trying Alrafidyn. Every thing I’ve eaten has been absolutely delicious. The chicken tikka, the beef kabob, fattoush, tabbouli, Iraqi salad, hummus…I can go on and on, but I think you get the picture. The food is indescribably good. It’s made fresh. It’s high quality. It’s flavorful. And the best part? The employees. I have never met nicer people in a restaurant than the staff at Alrafidyn. They truly make you feel like family. It’s honestly one of the reasons why I keep going back to Alrafidyn. If you want the best Middle Eastern food with the best staff then please eat here!...
