Pocono Mountains Visitors Bureau — Attraction in Stroudsburg

Today we essentially visited the whole village of Stroudsburg, PA for the winter festival. The town is decked out in over 40 themed ice carvings (this year was children's storybook themed...last year was cartoons). Additionally, the painted snowmen are also all through town. We found that Sunday offers much better parking and greater ease with seeing the sculptures and finding available lunch places. Also...free parking! But...if its not a cold weekend, the sun can wreck havoc on the sculptures pretty early in the day and most shops were closed on Sunday. My pick...go Sunday! It was much more pleasant to not fight crowds! A fun free family day...definitely...

We were visiting the Poconos from Toronto in February and wanted to know what to do in Stroudsburg. Adora was able to show us some local attractions and wrote us some hand written directions on how to access the loop at the top of Mount Pocono. We followed the directions only to find the loop is closed... No worries we just hit the Premium Outlet Mall at the bottom of the mountain and went...

My friend and I had a very bad experience today. My friends were drowning, trying to help each other, and the lifeguards didn't help them; they just screamed at them to grab each other but never entered the pool to assist.
