I love Boba "bubble" tea so much I was happy to know there was a place much more local than driving to the Lehigh Valley or Wilkes-Barre Scranton area to obtain one. This place is amazing if you haven't been I say the sooner you visit the better. I am used to traditional Boba this has a modern spin and you can watch them make it from start to finish quite literally they have a wonderful variety of flavors and combinations you can try. I am not always scared to try new things or of change just a bit hesitant is all lol. The young woman at the cash register was very helpful and picked my selection and I was happy I did need assistance my second time ordering because last time I sent the hubby with a predetermined order large cold lavander with lychee jelly. This time I had a tea that was my favorite color (purple, it was tarro root) and a warm spice with a creamy and comforting feeling while drinking it just made it that much more enjoyable and cold on a hot day made it perfection. They have some seating inside while you wait for your tea or any other treat you want they have ice cream rolls that is my next venture for the next visit. There are many selections and they do hot and cold tea, be sure to pay them a visit the next time you are in the downtown Stroudsburg area or Stroudsburg period you won't regret it unless you pass it up trust me this place is a gem and worth the trip. There is meter parking in the area so be sure you have some change or a card that does tap and pay other than that you are all on your own...
Read moreThe service was fast and the employees were welcoming and kind! Inside of the location is kept clean and the food is prepped with both attention to detail and plenty of measures to prevent cross contamination between ingredients. There was an array of signature flavors of rolled ice cream and hot and cold boba teas to order as well. There is seating and a self serve cotton candy machine inside. You could get your ice cream as is or pay a flat rate for anything between 1 and 5 toppings. I got a strawberry rolled ice cream topped with fresh strawberries, whipped cream, and strawberry flavored popping boba, pocky, and syrup. Before today, I can admit that I was skeptical about rolled ice cream being any different than your run of the mill grocery store half gallon, but I was SO wrong! It both tasted and felt texturally fresher than soft serve or freezer ice cream, and I could not get enough of the texture of the fresh strawberries chopped into the ice cream base- the ice cream is spread so thin that the mix ins maintain a light and icy melt-in-your-mouth texture. Bring the street food experience inside at 8°, a perfect small business to support. I look forward...
Read moreI was excited to try this place but im a bit dissappinted, it seems like they dont do plain juices or tea with tapioca or that all of there tapioca drinks are milk based. What else is put in the green tea tapioca drink other than milk/cream? I asked for a plain iced green tea with no milk or sugar and they gave me a cloudy green tea which means something was mixed into the green tea or the matcha powder, if used, is loaded with sugar. When I asked if the drink she handed me had no milk/cream she said yes.. i asked again because it looks and tasted way too sweet and had a creamy texture. Grean tea is clear and bitter to taste when nothing...
