I am writing to formally express my dissatisfaction with this Daiso location . I will be submitting an official complaint to both the city and the EEOC regarding the unacceptable conditions at this location. Specifically, the store has been operating without air conditioning since before the hurricane last month, despite neighboring buildings having functioning AC systems. This ongoing issue, which cannot be attributed to a power outage, has created an extremely uncomfortable shopping environment for customers and an untenable working condition for employees. The lack of air conditioning is not only inconvenient but also raises serious concerns about the store’s adherence to basic health and safety standards. I will be filing a complaint with Daiso's corporation as well, and I regret to inform you that I will no longer be shopping at this location. Immediate action is needed to address this issue and ensure it does not persist.

Woooow whaaaat The aisles are so thin and cramped together, one person width. This place feels like a mouse maze for reals. They didn’t design this place out very well. If you ever been to a daiso then you know what type of goods to expect. A few of my favorites are the meshy dishwashing sponges, they last so long and don’t get stinky! I love the laundy bags, sometimes you get one that breaks apart / zipper falls off but I get them for washing delicates and packing for trips. I also love their gift packaging selection for my small business, I always find unique resealable gift bags meant to be kept and used! Also they have lots of washi tapes! Other than the small cramped space and smaller selection here, it’s a typical daiso.

This Daiso is too small to put all items from Japan. And worst thing is no shopping carts to shop. Only baskets! I go the other Daiso (Katy and near Sam Houston) all the time. They are spacious and have shopping carts. I couldn’t carry everything I wanted. Staff was nice. I felt so sorry to him. Please move to bigger place!

I used to shop here often, it’s been a while since I’ve been here. I’m disappointed to say that I regret even giving Daiso my money. Why is it that this company has not bothered to fix the AC? They’ve been having issues with their AC since last year. They didn’t have AC all last summer as the same as this summer. What is going on with this company? Do you care so little about your employees to give 2 craps about them? I will no longer be giving Daiso my money, I will not support a business that clearly doesn’t care about their employees. This company only cares about their reputation and saving themselves. We all see the dirty tricks you guys are playing, whoever is above the manager, is just saving face! It’s so sad seeing these employees even work! 2 of the women whom I’ve seen today looked dehydrated, hot, sweaty, and horrible. How can any customers even still continue to shop here? All of you are just as bad! They have signs that they don’t have AC and people still choose to shop here?! I would love to see upper management come in and work here. It’s not a problem for them since they’re working in this terrible condition! Whoever they got to do their AC, they need someone better! I know people who can fix the AC in DAYS! Not months, DAYS! Daiso, do better !!!! I would love to talk to the employees to see what’s actually going on or if corporate is just lying to them too. Not to mention, one of the employees told me they won’t fix the AC until the 2nd week of September?!!!! If I were the employees, I would quit after knowing a company cares so...

I came here with my friends earlier and also wanted to put my two cents in, someone named Ken R said that staff racially profiled them but that’s the furthest thing from the truth. I’m a regular & a desi customer, the staff is so diverse, AND helpful- I don’t know how anyone could think they would discriminate like that. And they don’t follow nor watch people, it’s a small store and they have to stock. Trust me, when I’m at work at my job I’m in my own head just scurrying around trying to be productive. Also, when it pertains to the self checkout, the scanner double scans things ALL the time, I always end up having to void things! They check receipts to make sure you haven’t gotten overcharged, not based on your race/ethnicity. Come on now. They’ve had to refund me before because I scanned something 3x instead of twice, so it saved me the money & hassle. Let’s not be quick to jump to outrageous conclusions and just be kind & courteous to each other. I’m so sorry for the staff that have received such ridiculous reviews, you guys are doing great and I will continue...
