I had an occasion recently to sell a good amount of gold and silver jewelry. I had been to Heritage previously and liked the way I was greeted there on my visit, so I decided to give them first shot at the transaction.

It was enough jewelry to make it worthwhile to do my homework. I precisely weighed each piece and calculated the value of each at current market prices and noted that in a database. They told me what percentage of market they would pay which, by the way, was a very good and unexpected percentage. They hit every piece as promised! There was not the slightest feeling that I was being misled in any way. They earned and deserved my trust. The entire transaction was such a pleasant experience, not only because of the ease of the negotiations, but the fact that every person was just wonderful to work with!

One more thing. If you are looking for a quality guitar, go to Heritage. What they stock is NOT standard pawn shop fare. They know instruments and they carry top quality (Fender, Gibson, PRS, etc.) guitars. You can tell that they are very selective on what they put on their wall. These guitars are not cheap, but they are priced...

We found them online as Texas Watch and Gold. They had exactly what my wife wanted and at a nice price. We were truly excited as we started the rush hour drive to Sugar Land. To be on the safe side, we called to confirm the hours of operation and they said 7:00. At 6:05, we stood outside of their locked and closed doors reading a hand written note taped to the door stating that they closed at 6:00 today. There was no mention of any type of emergency and the other reviews state that there are employees (plural)- I would think that somebody could have stayed. The note also stated that they would keep their regular hours of operation tomorrow. That information is written on their website, that information is written on their front door, they told my wife that same information when she called them, and, when we got there, that information wasn't true. I drove home wondering what other information wasn't true. By the way, that was total of 2 hours driving and my wife is as mad as a wet hen because they've got what she wants at the price I want and I am about to pay almost twice as much for it somewhere else so I don't have to worry...
