Disappointed is an understatement. From the second we walked into this place, it REEKED of marijuana. While I know you can’t control what people are doing outside the property, if you walk by a room for a children’s party and it is so potent you can smell it from outside the room… you should most definitely do something. The staff is 99% children it would seem. From the time my guests arrived, including us the hosts, the front desk told everyone they didn’t even know anything about our party. They couldn’t give me any answers on ANYTHING and refused to speak up over screaming children.
Let’s fast forward to the actual party time which is absolutely ridiculous. Almost $1,000 for a room that made everyone that wasn’t a child sit on either side like an awkward prom stand off. You have to decorate everything yourself. And you get 1.5 hours to do EVERYTHING.
Included in the package is x20 $5 cards for the arcade they refused to give us because “they don’t know what happened they had them made up the day before for all the parties and somehow disappeared”. So finally at 5:30 when our party ended we got the cards fixed in time for none of our guests to be there. I’ve never been more embarrassed in my life.
There is no actual adults watching after your children or any rule to this place at all. There was a child easily 150+ pounds that just barreled over my 30 pound 3 year old trying to come down a small part of the soft play area. It’s not safe. We booked this when the place opened and it was amazing. It seems they just let children run it straight into the ground at this point. The ONLY saving grace was our party attendant. She did her best to try and mitigate the disaster that was our party. And I’m ashamed to say I don’t even know her name. I was too stressed trying to fix the major mess ups from these people that I couldn’t remember. They couldn’t even get my child’s name right!?
And to end the night, when we left the room 30 minutes early because of what a complete and utter disaster it was… the manager said and I quote “it’s early but sure I’ll take your money”. Which they had no problem charging full price for despite the fact we couldn’t even enjoy our daughter’s birthday because we were putting out their disastrous fires.
So if you want to pay an exorbitant amount of money for the worst party experience I could possibly ask for, this place is for you. I paid half this for her first birthday and had an entire place to myself and decorations and EVERYTHING handled. The management passing the blame off on the children running the place is not an excuse. When you run a place that employs young people, but charge that much for events. Maybe you should do a better job at making sure it’s being taken care of. 100/10 do not recommend booking a party here ever. I left in tears and absolutely shocked and embarrassed. I will not be giving any more business to this place until they can figure out how to do business right and not...
Read moreHad my daughter’s birthday party and while the place is decent and staff are friendly i feel they have a lot of room for improvement. I give two stars because part of the room rental comes with $5 play cards for the kids to game on.
Unfortunately they did not have the x20 $5 cards ready to go in advance and we had to ask a few time finally getting them almost a hour after out guests arrived. This led to parents trying buy their own card so their kids could play. The worst part is they finally gave me the cards and i distributed them to the kids but a few minutes later the parents started to complain to me that their $5 play cards only had $0.25 or $1 on them. This led to pissed of kids and parents and of course was super embarrassing for us the host. When i brought this to the manger attention they went and checked and of the x20 cards about half were from the lesser amount under $1.
The staff / manager rather than apologize basically said o well we ran out of cards and had to make these last minute and maid a mistake. I asked why this was not done before our party such as the night before and got told “that they made more cards than they needed but still somehow ran out. Their solution was to just hand me over new cards worth the correct amount but by this time all but two of my guests had left frustrated and by then we only had 30 minutes left on our party room we decided to just pay our remaining amount and leave early.
When the mango was told that we were leaving early by our event staff he came over looked at his watch noticing how early were leaving and instead of maybe asking whats wrong uttered “its early but sure ill take your money”…..
Im super disappointed and embarrassed and my guests are definitely going to 2nd guess coming to a future party. My wife left in tears she was so embarrassed and i want to make sure others know.
Ps the manger when i told him how this is frustrating and they should have this prepared in advance said “well its hard i work with all these kids”…. As a manger of a business myself thats not an acceptable answer to push blame to your staff! You all need to get some stuff worked out. Very disappointing as all i have done is rave about how great a place this is...
Read moreWe've been to several indoor play areas all over Houston and around the states and I must say this place is in the top 3 for our kids!
Came on a Tuesday around noon with my 4 & 6 year olds and it wasn't crowded! Admission was $20/child for unlimited play which I thought was reasonable. There's also foods and drinks for sale at a decent price. Bought 2 slices of pizza for $3.75 each.
Pros: -clean and well kept facility (so far) -huge & spacious (perfect for kids 4-8years old) -plenty of activities to do and the space isn't too crammed (I was able to go through the play areas with my kids with no issues) -clean restrooms -comfortable chairs -designated small area for kids under 4 years old -friendly staff
Tips: -Bring your own grip socks (or you can pay $3/socks, btw their socks are pretty good quality) -dress your child in long pants (easier to go down the slides so their skin doesn't rub against the slides) -can bring your own snacks/waters -come on the weekdays
Some suggestions I have would be to install security cameras inside the play areas so we can monitor our kids for safety purposes (you can easily lose your child if you're not paying attention). There's also an "X" or a "+" balance thing on the 1st level where it's on a 1inch mat over the foam puzzle floor mat. Many kids including myself and daughter have tripped over the mat a few times because we didn't see it or paid attention to it (it's also bad lighting in that area). It's cushiony but I'd remove the 1inch mat so the balance thing can be on the floor mat to prevent accidental trips.
Overall, it's an amazing place to take your kids to burn off...
