Update: This meal definitely gave me food poisioning. It's the only thing I ate, and I've been sick for almost 14 hours since eating it. I had high expectations coming to La Fonda for breakfast. Their potato and egg taco was pretty much a brick of solid potato with a sprinkle of egg residue. The bacon and egg tacos barely had any bacon in it. The migas had absolutely no flavor, and the corn tortilla was pretty soggy. Also, it was lacking any significant egg. Two bites and straight to the trash can it went. Their beans are watery and unappealing. I could drink their beans using a straw. That's how runny they are. 8 breakfast tacos and a small migas plate set me back over $40!! I feel ripped off, and honestly the only thing above average are their tortillas. Friendly service, but I was definitely left feeling ripped off for what I got. Save your money. This is not what you want.

Love that there's an authentic Mexican restaurant in the Sugar Land area. Pretty good food. I kind of customized mine by asking for a chorizo egg scramble with refried bean and ranchero sauce on the side. The ranchero sauce has a little kick to it so does the green sauce for those that like it a little spicy. They have cafeteria style food as well for lunch. They also have a pictures of various plates on the wall but with no words or prices hence I knocked off a star. I would definitely come back here and get their other plates but I would have to ask them what's in it and how much

Food was pretty good. I got 3 breakfast tacos: 2 Mexican eggs and 1 potato and egg. You can choose what sauce you want on the side and I recommend the "spicy" one even though it's not that spicy. The quantity/price combo is definitely solid. My only critique: I wish the tortilla had more fluff/flavor to it. Aside from that, this might be the best breakfast taco place in the sugar land area. If you have been spoiled with great tacos from Austin, this place is definitely a tier below those but I would definitely come back if I craved breakfast tacos on a random morning.
