Starplex Cinemas 6 — Attraction in Sulphur Springs

I was actually surprised coming to this theater. My son and I always go to the movies but since the one in our town shut down, we had to go elsewhere. Before I went to Rockwall's Cinemark, I wanted to check this place out. After reading the reviews, you would think it's a dump, but it does well. i purchased my tickets online because nowdays, you generally have to reserve your seats... which has it's pros and cons. Seats were comfortable. I would advise bringing a blanket because it is cold. Perfect for a hot summer day. Restrooms were clean. The only thing I didn't like, (and this is just personal preference..) was the confession. I got nachos (my favorite movie snack) and it's just plain chips and cheese. As avid movie goers we love the theater experience. Although our local theatre has been a steady disappointment. The staff for the lack of a better word are mindless drones. I have never seen a smile out of any of them save for one and she was new. The cleanliness of the snack area is always questionable, not going to even mention the last few times on restroom cleanliness (and no they were not busy). I do not know who is managing the staff, but they need to keep one thing in mind when it comes to customer service, SMILE! Teach, train, show your employee's how to serve...

I paid to go see the new Spider-Man movie and they sold me some seats that they didn’t have the Hispanic manager lady said they can’t refund the seats. But she sure is okay with her staff selling me seats that don’t exist. That was completely embarrassing and I will never go back again.
