Woodhouse Spa - Summit — Attraction in Summit

From the moment I stepped foot into the Summit location I instantly felt relaxed. I was overcome by the relaxing and calming smells that brought me total serenity. I’ve been to quite a few spas but I can say that this one is something special. It’s clean, the staff are all wonderful and the quiet room is very comfortable. When I booked my appointment I decided I wanted to try something different, I booked the Signature Calming Retreat. This winter my skin has been extra dry due to all of the cold weather. This treatment has made my skin so smooth and I woke up today feeling extra relaxed. Meghan began this treatment by explaining exactly what she was going to do and encouraged me to speak up if I was uncomfortable at any time. She was so thoughtful, checking in during the whole treatment to make sure I was doing good. The amount of pressure she applied during the massage parts was exactly what this Mom of 3 little boys needed! I would highly recommend her for any massage and I can’t wait to go back and see her again for another massage. I live close by and decided to finally try Woodhouse out - SO glad I did!

Scheduling an appointment online was quick and easy. Upon arrival I was given a brief explanation of how the spa works. Undress, change into a super comfy robe and slippers, and wait in the "quiet room". It was really peaceful, and I was given a tea menu to order from while I wait.

I scheduled a back, neck, and shoulder massage with Henry. It was honestly one of the best massages I've EVER had! Henry is so talented, and it shows. I sit at a computer for 8+ hours a day, and it's difficult to find someone who can work through my knots. I walked away feeling restored and pain-free. I highly recommend him!

After the massage, I chose to take a hot shower to soothe my muscles. The massaging stone floor felt wonderful, with the bonus of Lacoste towels and luxurious amenities. I only wished they had disposable combs, but now I know to bring one next time!

Overall, a fantastic experience. I regret not coming sooner and will definitely be back...

The worst facial and massage experience, I came because I had a gift card and I had a deep tissue massage and a facial and both were horrible. The massage was not relaxing at all and i felt more stiff after than i did before. Extremely unprofessional staff and it is clear that they are just there to get their jobs done and they don't actually care about making the experience pleasant and relaxing. The facial was even worse, the aesthetician spent 20 of the 50 minutes talking about all the problems with my face where when she finally started the facial she was in such a rush during the extractions it was so painful and i was so red after. My nose was peeling for a whole week and i was breaking out when my face was completely clear before the facial. They were both just interested in having me come back and making it seem like i needed more expensive and longer treatments while they were both wasting time in the treatment I was in....
