Don't come here to fill any controlled medications unless you want to be made to feel like a drug addict. They will treat you like one, even in the absence of any indication of medication abuse at all, and even for reasonable doses (I was trying to fill a prescription for 1 milligram of Xanax a day, and hadn't done previously for the past 11 months). They won't give you your prescription back either. I tried to ask for it back the previous day when it was becoming clear they're controlled-med antagonistic. I figured I might as well drop my Rx off there as there was no line and we were already there to shop, with my 9 months pregnant wife and 2 year old. When they started murmuring to each other in the back area, I tried to just tell them to forget it, noting that my wife is extremely pregnant and with our toddler trying to shop, and I need to be helping her and not wasting time having them "deal" with the simple script. They refused 3 times to give it back, made me wait at the desk for 10 minutes, finally told me they could fill it but it would take an hour. Didn't have time to wait an hour so I returned the following day. They still hadn't filled it, and told me what I was afraid they were going to say the day before, that they had to call my doctor to confirm the prescription, just because "it had been a while since I last filled this medication". They could have told me that the previous day and not make me come back twice to the store, be unable to help my wife shop, be talked to as though I'm trying to do something shady.
I highly recommend NowRX as an alternative for controlled medications. They are local, fast, friendly, reasonable people who don't treat you with disdain at all for the medications you are filling. I've been using them for the past 6 months and an much happier with them than I've ever been with any pharmacy. It was a mistake to ever go up to the CVS pharmacy counter ever again. I don't know why I thought it might save me some time. Instead I stood at their counter against my will for 10 minutes, had to make two trips, and have nothing but wasted time, wasted gas, and the feeling of being looked down upon as some sort of criminal to show for it. Not making that mistake again.
Highly recommend NowRX (mountain view based, makes home deliveries for free!) for anyone else fed up with the judgmental and adversarial culture that's taken over...
Read moreI really hate leaving bad reviews. I have my own business and I know what they can do. Though I’m sure Target will not even notice or care about my review. But I’m angry, and I’m going to say my piece until I feel better. I made the mistake today of using Targets online order and store pick up feature, that is on their website. I ordered two simple items. A headset and a iPhone/IPad charging cord. I paid, and waited two hours for it to be ready (I was at work). 2 hours later I get a message that my head phones are ready, but the cord had been bought by someone else it asked me if I wanted to pick it up at another location. I picked the closest one that had the item, which was Sunnyvale, I finished work, went home and then headed out to get my cord. I had an email that said my order had been canceled. I assumed it was from the first order that had been at a different location. The time stamp was at the same time as when I received the “your orders ready” email. So cut to me driving 20 miles out of my way because I really needed this cord to charge my IPad. I need to study. I get to the pick up counter to told that my order from them had been canceled as well. No notice! No email, or text message (which I signed up for)!! A complete waste of my time and money, which i of course, have to wait to get back. I for one will never use there online services again. And I will not be back to Sunnyvale location again. The whole situation iris extremely frustrating, and the service was subpar, she just stood there and blinked at me. Ok I’m done. Be careful ordering online, there system is definitely not helpful when something goes wrong. Good luck,...
Read moreIt was a really long line for pick-up. I was really sick today, and had already waited 20-30min in the line. When it was my turn, the girl who was preparing the prescription pick-up told the accountant that I need to wait for 30mins for getting the prescription ready. I looked really sick and tired with a mask on my face. The accountant seems doesn’t care and told me that I need to wait for 30mins. I initially felt it’s ridiculous to wait for 30min because the prescription should have been sent to them a hour ago when I left the clinic, but I didn’t say anything. I asked if she’s going to call my name when it’s ready, and she said yes. Then I was almost sitting on the floor because of sickness to wait for her to call my name after I used the restroom for a few minutes.
15 minutes later I felt really uncomfortable then stood up to get her attention so that she doesn’t forget. Another kind girl there then noticed me and asking me the reason I was there. I told them that I felt really uncomfortable and can they speed up? The girl who was preparing the prescription said your prescription is ready without calling my name. I was so uncomfortable so that I didn’t check if I got the right prescriptions. After I got home, I found that one prescription was missing.
This bad experience really annoys me because I wasn’t treated well when I feel really sick there, and the girl looks really impatient with my pick up and made mistake on my prescription. I have to go back with my sickness to wait in the line again just to see her...
