BAD EMPLOYEE MISS NANCY! This store was in bad shape during the beginning of Covid. Now it is open w/a bunch of new employees but i had to reduce my star rating from 3 to 1, bcuz it became worse.
I was there a cpl of days ago. I had an incident w/MISS NANCY, unfortunately she could be one of the managers, pretty poor choice for that position.
There were some Xmas items left here and there. I wanted to purchase a few. One did not have a marked down tag despite the fact all other similar ones were discounted.
MISS NANCY, was lacking customer servise skills and she was very rude when i asked her to mark down that item too just like the others were.
She said they do not mark down and they cant sell Xmas because they sent it to charity. If so, i asked her why are the items in my cart are still on the sales floor. If you cant sell then you have to remove them off the sales floor.
Then she said, i can buy them w/the existing prices but she wont discount that 1 item.
She had a bunch of other dumb responses. I kept pressing because she did not make any sense. Finally, she ordered her clerk friend to mark down the item and sell it to me.
The older lady clerk took almost 10 minutes to print and put the mark down tag on the ticket. They were all comical & pitiful bunch of employees.
It was very disappointing to see how much customer service declined in TJMaxx after Covid which wasn't that great even before Covid.
I BET IF I WERE A BLACK CUSTOMER, MISS NANCY MAY TRY TO PRACTICE BETTER CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS & WILL NOT ARGUE 15 MINS W/A CUSTOMER OVER AN $8 ITEM.
Even though TJ is one of my favorite & frequently visited stores due to Covid and beyond the one at Sawgrass Mills at Sunrise is lacking stock & good employees. There were so many empty shelves, hardly any new stock.
I was confident that TJ will be one of those stores that will survive Covid but more and more I see employees like MISS NANCY here and there. I bet they will manage to ruin the remaining retailers if Covid didnt.
Don't go to TJMaxx at Sawgrass unless you are black or prepared to argue w/Nancy over a...
Read moreSawgrass is always a great place to shop however TJ Maxx really needs to be more efficient in their lines and work on their customer service. I was waiting to be rung out at the jewerly center but the lady was completely ignoring us despite our attempts to get her attention then we had to shout for her to finally look at us while she continued to help another customer. Another customer had a refund issue where I believe she called the manager Howard. He completely disregarded us and stood there watching the associate help the next customer, we waited for 15 minutes to be helped and when we finally got fed up and started to walk away he then asked if we needed help. Completely disregarded us and I will not shop...
Read moreI just had to take a moment to shout out the exceptional customer service I received at the TJ Maxx Sawgrass location. I accidentally left behind a personal item, and two amazing team members—Christian and Richard—went above and beyond to help me recover it.
As someone who travels frequently for work, I’ve shopped at many TJ Maxx stores across the country. I can confidently say that the Sawgrass location is the flagship when it comes to both selection and customer service. Christian and Richard were not only professional and efficient, but also genuinely kind and understanding—something you don’t always get in a fast-paced retail...
