I love this place. It's the only place that has a lot of things that I like to buy. There are other Asian markets here. Well there are certain items that this place has and I have never had an issue with this place. I use the same exact card every single time. I was here 2 days ago. I used my same card spent $20.86. they gave me my product. Everything was fine daughter. I spent $9.88 Said approved. The money is missing for my account. She said it didn't go through. You need to try again. I said well it shows here that it did go through cuz I get a text message but I said I'll use my cash app card which is a different card for a different account. So I swipe that and again it says approved and she says we still don't have your money and she yelled at me and told me how dare I try to spend money at her store. When I have a negative account call my bank call my bank. How about she call the people who runs her system? She told me to call the police or she was going to call the police so I called the police. I paid for this twice. It shows that it came out of my account. It doesn't show that it's pending. And the bank on when I called them just now says we don't know what to tell you. You can dispute the transaction but we're going to cancel your card. So I have to wait for it to stop pending with her business in order to get my product that I paid for. So I paid for it twice today and I can't have it until tomorrow cuz the police officer says yes. It shows right there that it came out of your account twice but she says she never got the money. So wait 24 hours for it to go through in her system. Does that...
Read moreA legendary new generalist Asian mart with a kind owner and the most expansive brand offerings in SC.
The menu is extremely authentic with offerings such as pork belly for your bibimbap and pho with authentic, real ingredients like beef tripe and beef tendon. They also offer savory pancakes. You won't find this friendly and authentic experience anywhere else on the beach side of SC, so Fudi Mart is doing the community a great service. It is even more impressive that this restaurant experience is within the mart itself, which allows you to buy drinks and snacks to eat with your meal as well.
The mart itself is expansive and full of a mix of many big and small Asian brands, from Calbee to Asia's Best, Kikkoman to Lonely God, Dorayaki and many many more:
Entire sections are dedicated to authentic entree ingredients (shiitake mushrooms, sweet potato vermicelli, etc) desserts (Dorayaki, etc) drinks (Ramune, milk teas, etc) sauces (gochujang paste, soybean paste, etc) overseas microwave cup ramens and tteokbokkis, and snacks (dried green mango, shrimp chips, Calbee chips etc).
They sell fresh fish (yellowtail, etc), fresh asian vegetables (bok choy, bean sprouts, etc), have an entire frozen dumplings section, and a cooled entrees/sides section with competitive offerings such as Kimchi and freshly pickled radish.
I was able to find everything I needed. Come...
Read moreFirstly, let me just say this place is huge! Make sure you allow plenty of time to browse because there are a ton to things to look through. My 1st stop was to get a refresher so I could stay hydrated on my shopping journey. I got the lychee refresher with strawberry popping pearls, and it was perfectly sweet and refreshing. They had a little bit of everything from frozen foods like Popsicles and ice cream to gyoza and lumpia, tons of cookies and chips, every possible noodle you could dream of, fresh foods from yogurts to fish to fruits. Then there were the spices and sauces, which were my favorite section, that were all priced very fairly and even some better than the regular grocery store. There were all sorts of teas, rices, dried mushrooms, seaweed, and candy. I can't forget all the other housewares and some other odds and ends like beauty products and random bits. If you've got time, it's worth stopping in for at least a drink and browse around. Great prices, and the folks that own it, as well as work there, are super helpful! I will for sure be going back, especially once they get their alcohol sales started so I can finally...
