This small local shop is nothing short of amazing, beautiful and friendly all around. The owner, his wife and beautiful little daughter were so friendly, loving and made us feel right at home!! I loved sparking up conversations with the owner, he was kindhearted and made my night!! My heart was warm because of the kind man putting out kindness in the world and expecting nothing in return!! Twins Beach Shop in Surfside Beach is our favorite on the Strand. The lady sales associate greeted us with a smile and "Hi, how are you doing today? Let me know if I can help you find anything." Recently when we were there with some of our friends, she let their 7 year old daughter pick the color of shirt she liked and the decal she wanted on it. The little girl thought it was extra special because the lady had made it just for her. They later sent me a picture of their daughter wearing the shirt. Twins has a large variety of apparel from tee shirts, swimsuits, and hoodies, to all the items for your beach day including beach chairs, umbrellas, boogie boards and all the toys kids need for the beach. My family and I stopped by looking for boogie boards and ended up walking out with MUCH more. Prices were very reasonable, but the main reason I’m reviewing is the man who assisted us. He was so friendly and made sure to greet us upon entry. After finding beach toys, boogie boards, skim boards and more we finally checked out. As we went to leave the man who checked us out offered our three boys a free lollipop and two sand dollars apiece. It was such a sweet moment that our family will cherish forever. This is one of the NICEST places to shop for Surfside Beach items. The man running the store is so good at helping. The store is much smaller than some of the chains that are on every block. But, Twins has shirts and gifts not found in any of the other chain stores, with plenty of styles, colors and sizes. We did stop in a couple of the big stores, and walked out.
