It’s a nice level walkabout which is awesome for anyone in a mobility chair or wheelchair since it allows people in those situations to really enjoy the nature in their neighborhoods. This park has a lovely giant sequoia tree which is just wonderful to get a look at, among other unusual and unique trees as well that stand out among the rest which makes it a hot bed for those who take great enjoyment from admiring or studying plants. I’ve mostly driven by there during other occasions and today I stopped in and went on a wild goose chase for a cache I didn’t know was there or not, and during the blind hunt spoke with a retired Parks employee and that was lovely and even two other folks asking about the noteworthy trees in the park, again, it was lovely. So upon my first actual park and visit experience here I was met with a few choice encounters that were really nice and that’s worth mentioning in my opinion because it’s a mixed bag in this area as to whom you might encounter. Found a little treasure somewhere there and that was a special experience. We made it a team effort to leave it behind for any wandering eyes who may happen across it as well. Hope someone discovers it eventually, it’s a very odd but unusual little doodad of things and worth finding if you’ve got the drive and eyes to spot it from where the man did. The park was very clean and well kept, has awesome walkability for literally anyone and didn’t seem too overwhelmed with folks which was great for me because I hate big crowds. All in all, I’m definitely going to take more leisure trips back there. I had a great time. I hope others share the same...

It is a very nice park..the kids love the spray park it is very clean and all spray systems work it has a few base ball fields and plenty of toys for the kid to play on all the people there have been very nice and the kids are very well behaved I have no issues binging my kids there they enjoy it alot..I'm glad Tacoma parks invest in these parks I feel like my tax dollars are actually going to a good cause if you ever have a chance and have small kid definitely bring them to this park ..it has plenty of shade and tables to relax at and a big field to play on ...parking is a little limited but it is no too bad ..it is very close to sixth Ave and very...
