We came in for a late dinner around 8pm, as we were in the area. and our daughter suggested it. Coming into the restaurant it appeared to be an order to go place, not the case, we were greeted by a extremely nice and informational server. She showed us the "secret" door that was the entrance to the dining room and bar area, amazing! We decided to sit in the bar, we were the only three in there, it was a really quiet setting with island music playing. The server who greeted us asked if it was our first time in, we replied "yes" and she went to the kitchen and brought all of us small samples of the meats they serve. This to me is huge when a restaurant does this, when you treat the guest this way , in my book, you've just made a regular. The samples were all great! Our server (did not catch her name) let us know the bartender would take our drink order and she would be back to take our food order. My wife and I split a wonderful island drink, we ordered our food and it came out at a good pace. I had the Plate Lunch w/Tiki Chicken, my wife had the Spam Moco, and our daughter tried a few side dishes; Musubi/Spicy Musubi/Garlic Furikake Fries. I've had this place on my list to try for a while & I've been craving loco moco so we decided to go today. First of all, the staff is very, very nice & the service is top notch!

They brought out samples of the meats & then I suddenly had difficulty figuring out what I wanted. I intended to get loco moco, but the samples were so good! We both ended up getting the Combo Plate Lunch & it was generous helpings of meats + rice & mac salad. Plus we got an order of lumpia. I loved the mac so much that I ordered a pound of it to go with our leftovers. Our son (4) had the Korean Barbeque Chicken Kid Plate - he tried the sample & really liked it. He ate all the meat, which was a pleasant surprise for us because he has texture issues with meat sometimes, especially chicken. The hibiscus punch, mango lemonade, & regular lemonade were very tasty & refreshing! We also couldn't resist the pineapple upside down cake, which was super moist, & dole whip swirl, which was super refreshing. The orchid flower is edible!
