Don't waste your time! Better quality food and service can be found down the street. I don't even know where to start! Went in there today and ordered veggie fried rice with chicken. I later saw, my order was incorrectly put in as just chicken fried rice by Evan, they bag and tie up every order so you don't catch their errors until you get home. I called and advised Evan that he didn't give me veggies in my fried rice and that I couldn't come back up there until later. Evan advised me no worries, just come when you can and we will replace your order. I sent my husband there hours later, expecting to get the order made as promised by Evan and was told by Ky that Evan misspoke and I would need to bring the original order back up there in order for them to remake my order. I am not trusting that due to the fact that the kitchen is hidden and they could easily just add vegetables to my hours old chicken and rice which I did not eat! I have literally spent hundreds in this expensive restaurant just to be treated like someone trying to get over on them over some dry fried rice! I am looking to follow up on Monday with Lena who is always a friendly and helpful person when I go in! She knows me and my family because we're always in there! I'll update this once I speak to her but my trust in this establishment is strained after this experience.
*Update since the "owner" wants to respond very inaccurately and very unprofessionally. Your employee read me my order back and stated veggies with chicken. Also, If you had your facts straight, you would know I asked your employee Evan if I needed to bring the food back up there and he said NO, that he would take my name and remake my order and all I needed to do was come up there! Take some accountability and learn some professionalism. In addition, saying I'm responsible for people no longer having an item?! Please grow up! I work for one of the largest companies in this area and I have also been a part of this community for over 15 years! You really think this is the way to do business?! I literally said I will update my review once I spoke to Lena, the only professional person at your establishment apparently but you want to rage a war on google because you would rather have your ego endanger your business! I knew based on our conversation that you lacked the maturity and professionalism to handle the minorest of customer complaints and I will tell you now "your" business will suffer greatly for it! Oh and added a picture to show exactly what happened to the incorrect order!
now I'm a Karen! Lol the audacity! the truth hurts huh?! You are immature and unprofessional... those are facts based on your response to every customer who gave you one or two stars! Check your ego dude! Trust me you'd get a lot further in life.
you're a joke and clearly triggered. If you really think it's a good look to go back and forth on google with a former customer, then you're delusional as well. You should not be the face of your company, for maaaaaaannnny reasons. Wth is AmFam? Is that supposed to be where I work?! Lol Hope you get the help you so clearly need! It's giving desperate...
I recently had my first experience at this establishment, and it exceeded my expectations in several ways. Firstly, everything I ordered was remarkably fresh, and the attentive staff was incredibly polite. The overall cleanliness and spaciousness of the place added to the pleasant dining atmosphere. I got a Poke salad with Salmon and Tuna, and my daughter enjoyed a Tempura Shrimp with Krab Sushi Burrito along with a yummy Banana smoothie boba. The salad tasted fresh, and the proteins was fresh as well. The size of my daughter's Burrito was huge, she initially intended to save half her Sushi Burrito for later but couldn't resist finished it all lol. I took a sip of her Banana Boba smoothie, and it was bussin! If I were to give recommendation, I would say not to be shy with your sauces. Although I had a satisfying combination of ponzu and yummy sauce for my salad, I realized I should have asked for a bit more. The Salmon and Tuna, while fresh, are somewhat plain in flavor unless it's accompanied by something spicy or enhanced by sauces. So, additional sauce in my opinion would enhance the overall taste experience.
If I had to give a con, the only downside to my meal was the use of pre-packaged pineapples, which detracted from the presentation and taste. Bootleg pineapples ain't the look. Fresh pineapples would not only be a preferable choice, but also that salad would of have been next level for real, and it would add an even more authentic touch.
On a side note, it would be fantastic if they incorporated a mango salsa of some sort, maybe some kimchi, and perhaps offered like a cilantro lime cauliflower rice as an alternative option for a base as well to the menu. Overall, my first visit to this spot left me full, highly satisfied with its fresh food, friendly service, and clean ambiance. With a few additions, it could become even more exceptional....
Read moreI usually go to Poke Falls by Dunkin Donuts and NY pizza. Its hands down the best in my opinion. I decided to go here and i wont be going back. It looks very nice, and the staff is very friendly and helpful. But there are things i didnt like. I picked a 2 protein bowl and spent over $20. The same bowl at Poke Falls is $15 with a tip. They consider krab salad and egg ( tamago) here a protein. At Poke Falls they are free toppings. The spicy tuna is all mushed up here as well, not cut into nice chunks. I dont know why you would mush up sushi grade tuna it is beautiful. They dont have the variety of toppings that Poke Falls has. The onions are cut into tiny diced pieces and fall of your chopsticks or fork. At poke falls then are thin half rings... perfect for grabbing. I also get the sauce in a small sauce cup as i dont like the bowl doused in sauce... i eat much of it without sauce ( or with tradional soy sauce and wasabi) because many of the items are already sauced and dont need it. So they charged extra for it to be on the side. I got a chickpea sized piece of wasabi that barely made my soy sauce spicy. They also have the registers which i personnally hate that ask for a 20 or 25 percent tip when you pay. I like to write it in. These machines make people feel cheap... 15 to 20% tip is customery. I walked away frustrated at paying $21 for a bowl that usually cost me 14 or 15. The items were fresh and good quality though, and there signature sauce is amazing. I will stick...
