Sunburst Yacht Charters — Attraction in Tampa

Thank you Captain Wendy and Sunburst Yacht Charters for such an amazing day. My office chartered the Vanguard for a work event a few weeks ago. Everything about the day was perfect--ship, crew, and destination.

I don't remember how long the Vanguard is, but I was shocked at how big it seemed once aboard. Between the seating at the large table at the stern, the comfy/cool interior dining area, the great views from the bridge, and the relaxing sun pad to lounge on the bow, there were so many places to gather with people or break off if you just wanted to take it in.

Captain Wendy and her crew went above and beyond from the time we stepped aboard until the time we left to make sure we had everything we needed. Drinks, food, information...you name it, they took care of it.

We ended up heading to Egmont Key for the day. The ride there and back was great with views of Tampa and St. Pete skylines and getting to go under the Sunshine Skyway bridge. Saw some dolphins too! We were tendered (ferried?) from the Vanguard to a cool little beach at Egmont that was basically private. The weather could not have been better.

The yacht itself was immaculate—luxurious, spacious, and clearly well-maintained. Our captain and crew were professional, friendly, and went above and beyond to ensure our trip was perfect. From breathtaking coastal views to personalized service, every detail was thoughtfully handled.

Such a phenomenal experience, cannot recommend these guys enough because they were fantastic! I brought my family on a trip for my parent's 50th anniversary (7 of us which included my 4-year old), and we had a great time. Unfortunately the weather wasn't great, but Captain Wendy and team had back up options with ideas ready to go to ensure our vacation was still one to remember.

Very competitive pricing and the yachts are enormous. It was basically a luxury rental home that could also cruise around on the ocean. Super comfortable sleeping situation as well.
