Weāve always passed by this cute little shop in Taos when heading up north but we had never stoped, We promised ourselves next time we definitely needed to stop by. So this passed week on our way up to Red River we checked it out and all I can say is we are so glad we did! Itās such a cool spot lots of vintage stuff! One of our daughterās found an amazing pair of red velvet (Frye) vintage cowboy boots and she fell in love with them, So the owner told her to try them on and just like Cinderella they fit her foot perfectly she was so excited and she just had to buy them haha! Our youngest daughter found an adorable pair of heart shaped glasses and I was lucky enough to score a vintage copy of Fleetwood Mac (Rumours) Album! It plays perfectly! Owner of the shop was super awesome, friendly and helpfulā¦He truly has a awesome little shop. We will definitely put Metamorphic on the top of our list of places to stop and shop whenever...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreDoan! Pleasure meeting you man. Iām glad I chose to come into your store during my short stint in Taos. Great selection. Unique clothing and other vintage or antique items. Feels like you can find anything in here. Something that makes me really appreciate a second hand or thrift store is when you find stuff that you havenāt seen before. Jeans and army selection was great. Unfortunately couldnāt find anything that fit me perfectly for jeans, but thatās how jeans go when theyāre vintage. I think the curators and owners of second hand/thrift stores are really important to the customer experience and the quality of what you can find (and feel) at stores like this. Hard to find stores like this. Experiences like this are why I travel. Hope to cross paths with you again,...

I was blown away by the price of the jacket! But here is where the heart of this place is⦠the owner, Doan, as my wife was looking around I was just having a nice, casual conversation with him. He is extremely pleasant, he told me stories of his early days working at the Taos Inn, and living in Taos. Overall, great finds and great conversation, 5 star...
