Been here twice so far, once because we were craving boba teas and the second to try the rolled ice cream. The pricing is awesome, most of the drinks are less than $6 for the largest drink. We each tried to get something different to sample as many items as possible from the menu, so we got a Cookies N Cream smoothie (obviously delicious), a Taro Tea with boba (perfect and fresh!) and a Sea Salt Cheese Milk Tea. Do NOT sleep on the Cheese drinks! If you're filipino, the cheese foam tastes exactly like Magnolia Queso Ice Cream, it sounds crazy but it really is delicious.
The rolled ice cream has a flat rate and size running you $6.75 and has a fun and chewier texture since it is scraped flat against the cold pan. It's actually really fun and made completely fresh from scratch in front of you and it doesn't melt as fast which is great because it's a LOT of ice cream.
The staff, can't speak highly enough of them. They're very friendly and informative especially if you're not familiar with anything on the menu. They have special discounts for Military, students, teachers and unicorns (only on Thursdays). Please check them out, it's a great little spot and...
Read moreOrdered the strawberry latte with boba and the banana Nutella rolled ice cream. Both were very good. The strawberry latte was not overly sweet. I wish it had more strawberry but it was still good. The rolled ice cream was a tad too sweet but very good flavor overall. One of the toppings we chose were the mochi. We didn't ask what flavor they were, so that was a mistake. Honeydew favored mochi in our ice cream didn't go well. :') Another thing, one of the staff told me that they make the taro drink with half powder and half the root. I am ecstatic! To try it. Most other places only use the powder.
Service was friendly. Waited a quite bit since there were some other 5 people in front of us. The place itself is decorated okay. Not too flashy and not too bland. It feels calm. Only thing is that some of the tables wabble a bit. I wish they had more space outdoors. Would love to see their theme come out in outdoor decorations.
Will probably come back to try the...
Read moreThe high reviews surprise me. A couple of us went here for a lunch break, looking for quick boba and a snack. After 10 minutes we asked about our Cajun fries, to be told it would be another 5. Keep in mind there were the 3 of us, and 2 others in the building.
A team member walked in for a shift change, and it was clear they lack communication. The dude left without telling his coworker about our order, and by this point it had been 25 MINUTES since we ordered.
To top it off she gave us our separate orders into one single bag (a pile of fries), which was inconvenient, being that our lunches were over at this point and we had to go separate ways.
There's a boba spot right across the shopping center I highly recommend. I'll be directing friends and family away from...
