Ugh where do I begin. The breakfast is trash. Eggs cold, sausage uncooked, bread hard, bananas unripened the only good thing is the yogurt. They don't have any drinks but water and the water is tap. Make sure you bring napkins. Now to The room. The problem starts from the door there's a draft, so you're going to have bugs because there's no guard for underneath the door. At a glance looks clean until you walk bare foot for 5 minutes and collect dirt and crumbs on your feet. My tub was clogged, it had a black ring on the bottom that I couldn't scrub out, and when I alerted the front desk they didn't send maintenance until the next day after I called numerous times, hours apart, I then walked down to the front desk and then maintenance finally came. They had a Dirty toilet that flushed like a volcano. The a.c in the bedroom was blowing hot air at 60° so i had to leave the door open to get a.c from the suite area. When the cleaning ladies came and change my towels, the towels smelt like smoke. The TV in the living chose when to work and the wifi was non existent. The phone in the room was disconnected. I had to re-connect the ethernet cord. Why would someone disconnect the phone to the hotel room? It has to be their workers. They don't want people calling the front desk and complaining because they know they're gonna get calls all day. The window shade in the bedroom only covered 3/4ths of the window so thats how I even seen that a homeless person was sleeping outside of my window. I couldn't get a Good night's sleep cause I just kept thinking someone was staring at me through the side of the window that wasn't covered. When I called and complained about it to the front desk guy He just basically Told me I could leave the property. He did refund me for the fourth night but not the 3rd night that I was leaving. He turned off my key with my stuff still in the room and I had to make a trip to the front office where he already had an activated key for my room and was like oh here. This branch is a low budget motel. It is inexpensive at an expense of health and safety. I honestly think this property is into shady business. Cause who was that key activated for yes I told him that I was on my way to the office to leave but how you already have the key activated for my room on another card. Please do not rent here. Read moreI don't give to many bad reviews. Overall this is the worst hotel/motel I have stayed at. I am Diamond Select Member with Best Western (BW) as they proved to be just as bad as the entire staff at SureStay (SS) Tempe location. We checked in on September 11th besides the first day we payed because it was done by me. Everyday from September 12th October 8th we were charged $10 to $15 over the listed price on Thier site. I brought to thier attention their words were nothing we can do BW corporate has made these prices and we can not alter. It being only a short term I just was going to let it ride.
Fast Forward a week or so the closet in the room leaks bad from above us. 24 hrs it took them to respond and to have us move plus all my daughters things ruined clothes and things you can't place value. My wife told them. Didn't ask for anything but to let them aware. Nothing said from them like no apologies or anything. I told my wife just chill don't want to give them reasons to put us out.
Now to Sept 27 2024 just like any other day I go into extend cause that's what I was told to do do not schedule anything on the internet don't make any reservations and don't come in in the evening come in the morning and extend your reservation. So tell me it is booked completely so I'll go online I see they still have available to end up booking another reservation for that day and it was more it was like 30 $40 more for the room because if I scheduled a larger room. I then asked if I can keep the same room that we're in cuz all of our stuff is in there they said no because I purchased a different room I said well can you offer the room to a to the customer for since it's already paid the difference. Manager comes in with a list of five names on it she told the front desk clerk that he can have his room if one of these five people don't update their account for extending guess what my name was on that list the people that were there for what they consider long-term they asked him if they're going to extend they give them a chance to extend they failed to tell me this plus they knew it so they had me do another reservation which got them more money and another deposit out of me I said my name's on that list they said well you already have a reservation and you're unable to cancel it preserve rules of canceling reservations that close again I said you know what I'm not arguing it's whatever

Read moreDo not stay at this hotel! The management and the owner don’t have a clue about how to run a Hotel. They use a leaf blower right outside your door at seven in the morning with no care whatsoever as to the noise that it creates waking people up, they have absolutely no common sense whatsoever. If you make a complaint, they will blacklist you from the hotel, and refuse to let you stay there. If you make one complaint they warn you that you won’t be able to ever stay there again it’s almost like Communist China or communist Russia back in the 80s. I’ve never seen anything quite like it , this place discriminates against people for making complaints about anything . You’ve been warned avoid this place like the plague, any problems that occur like loud, talking, or people making noise at the hotel the staff is unable to quell the problem , you have to call the police to get anything done because the hotel staff is totally incompetent. Not to mention they charge a $200 deposit that they hold on your credit card even if you’re staying for only one night that amounts to $80 that makes absolutely no sense. I’ve never heard of something so ludicrous they’re so afraid you’re gonna damage the hotel that they try to hold a $200 deposit on your credit card. This place will be out of business probably before this post even goes public nobody in their right mind would allow somebody to run your credit card for a 200 deposit when the cost of the room itself is sometimes only $80. It’s a shame because the hotel itsel has very nice rooms and it’s in a very decent location but the people who run this place are absolutely wacked out of their minds . My guess is the franchise owner is close to bankruptcy, and he just doesn’t care what happens at this point there’s no way this hotel is turning a profit with their business practices. Also, on my first night there the housekeeping staff entered the room without even knocking while I was asleep. If it weren’t for the security latch on the door, they would’ve come right in while I was in bed they didn’t even knock first and then an air conditioner in my room was broken And I reported it and they sent a maintenance man who was in a uniform that said Quality Inn and didn’t identify himself because he barely spoke English and mind you this was a Best Western.
