2 stars....I'm really over the sound system being broken (constant popping like the DAC is low quality or burned up), the same 8 songs, and the obnoxious voice of the guy trying to get you to post on social.
$&$&$&$Really though it's unforgivable to have the FM transmitter have such issues with audio quality. It's not all songs but anything that is higher quality or has a lot of sound makes a popping and it's just terrible. When the entire show is based around coordinated music, it's just not ok. I did verify others had the same issue as well.....
We've been going for 8 years and won't be going again. Although it's still fun for the kids, it's literally the exact same music and synching even, when they change the ornaments. Nothing has changed in 4 years other than the rolling rotation of designs. But it's the same songs, and same patterns so nothing really new. TIPS: -Be aware of who you are behind in line. Getting stuck behind a stinky gas guzzler can really ruin the experience. Smelling gas fumes for 30 minutes is just not fun. -Your ticket is for assigned times of 30 windows minutes but showing up 5-10 minutes after 7-15 after or 37-45 is usually fastest. -Weekdays are cheaper and less busy -Your must buy tickets in advance and schedule your arrival. -Lots of people park around the corner and pile into one vehicle. Minivan, or pickup or anything with a roof you can open is best. Charge by the vehicle so you can do as many as you can fit. -Bring donuts, led light sticks and other stuff to make it fun. -the better your car stereo the better the experience, it's FM broadcast, so your car is the center. -Don't worry about seat belts on the lights as you will be driving...
Read moreI am writing this review to rave about the incredible Christmas light presentation at World of Illumination. My family and I recently had the pleasure of driving through the lights, and we were completely blown away by the display.
From the moment we arrived, the staff were friendly and helpful. They provided us with a map of the route and made sure we were ready to begin our journey through the lights. And as soon as we started driving, we were mesmerized by the spectacle before us. The lights were perfectly coordinated with the music, and it was like nothing we had ever seen before.
The variety of light displays was truly impressive. There were traditional holiday scenes, as well as more modern and creative ones. We loved driving through the tunnel of lights and seeing the various characters and scenes come to life. And the music added an extra layer of magic to the experience.
We were all in awe of the light show and couldn't stop marveling at the beauty of it all. It truly sparked a sense of wonder in us, and we left feeling festive and joyful.
Aside from the incredible light show, we also appreciated the friendly and helpful staff. They were always on hand to answer questions and make sure we had a great experience.
Overall, we had an unforgettable experience at World of Illumination and would highly recommend it to anyone in search of a festive and magical holiday activity. Thank you, World of Illumination, for hosting such an incredible light show and for the wonderful...
Read moreWhat an amazing light show!
The entrance to the attraction isn’t very well lit or easy to find so keep your eyes open.
I arrived on a Saturday around 6pm and waited to check in approximately 15-20 minutes. Once I checked in less than five minutes to enter the light show. I purchased the “dash pass” ahead of time but it didn’t seem to make much of a difference as far as getting in faster than people tbh didn’t pay for it.
You’re told to tune your radio to a specific station to enjoy the music the event has to offer. The reception was so bad that I had to play my own music instead.
Once I side the light the show a few of the lights weren’t working but that didn’t alter the experience too much. With the traffic at the time of day it took about 20 minutes to navigate through the show.
I was very disappointed that Santa Clause wasn’t at the exit saying happy holidays and waving to the kids. Santa was never advertised but it is usually customary at any other drive inn light show I’ve been to.
Would I return? Of course. My...
