Texarkana Pavilion — Attraction in Texarkana

After paying ticket prices, I got a 55 gallon drum of soda, a medium sized bucket of popcorn (with all the salt i need to consume until 2027, and enough butter to lubricate a small industrial manufacturing facility), and a frozen icee type beverage that was sweet enough to give the Stay Puft Marshmallow Man diabetes. And as luck would have it, it was available as a combo deal, so it only cost one of my children's college fund, and my 401(k)...

Meh....it's okay. There are plenty of vacant stores, so either rent is high or people still tend to shop online vs a store. One day we will realize that online shopping is good for some things, but it's not always the savings it says it is. I digress. There are a few restaurants on the access road, the movie theater, Best Buy, and other retail shops. Nothing to write home...

This is the only movie theater in Texarkana. Average cost of $120 for a family of 5 for tickets, soda, and popcorn. We last went to see Minecraft. The guy taking our tickets was kinda creepy. The movie was good, aside from one of our seats not working properly and my daughter fidgeting with it the whole time. It was packed in there,...
