Cold Stone Creamery — Restaurant in Texarkana

My friend and I walked in to grab some ice cream today. We noticed a sign on the door that said they would be closed until 4:30 for some sort of dilemma (can’t remember exactly what). I checked the time and it was past 4:30, so we assumed we were okay. Tried the doors and they were unlocked, so we walked in, only to be quite literally pushed out by who I assume was the manager. “We’re closed! Didn’t you see the sign on the door?” Ma’am, if you’re trying to make me look like the moron here, you’ve done a poor job. I read the sign. Maybe YOU didn’t. Honestly unsure how she became manager of anything customer service - related with her attitude. If she had respectfully said “I’m sorry, but [whatever was going on] went a little late. Please come back later,” I would have been totally cool. For her to gesture and wave us out the door was pretty unhinged behavior. It’s one thing to be stupid- in Texarkana, that’s the norm. When it comes to ice cream you can't beat Cold Stone. Well you probably could somewhere but for me this place works. It has gotten a little pricey over the years but the ice cream is still great. This location is pretty good. I know from reviews it's been a bit mixed. It's been that way with me time to time and the mixed part comes with customer service. There are times I go in and the service is great. The next time you can tell the employees just don't want to be there. But again that's only a segment of a review. To me the ice cream is always spot on. My favorite go to is the Mud Pie Mojo. The waffle bowls are always fresh (well except one time). The seating area is big enough to sit down and enjoy the ice cream. They also have cakes and ice cream to go as well. If you want a quick treat with great flavor you can't beat this place. I was in this place and ordered ice-cream for me and my 2 grandkids we got our order sat down was eating it and when the clock hit closing time we was ask to leave the establishment if that's what you want to call it was very dissatisfied with im 59 years old and have never been ask to leave a restraint or eating place before I was done eating what I had paid for .I do goo to cold stone creamery in oklahona city and have been there at closing time and was not ask to leave before I had finished .I do believe this is poor management and a horrible way to treat your customers after they have done paid for there order and even dropped a tip in you tip jar for the kind service . I want be back and will not recommend anyone else...
