Envy Hair Salon — Attraction in Texas City

Let me start by saying my rating is based on the actual hair cut itself. I made an appointment to have my son's hair cut along with a eyebrow waxing for myself. I arrived and everyone was very polite and the salon was nice. Before we began the cut I told Heather several times that I wanted his bangs longer and even pointed out the length in which I wanted them to be. Half way thru the cut I noticed they were very short. To make a long story short his bangs were BUTCHERED. I noticed several places that she missed and longer pieces of hair was left. I am not impressed at all with the quality of the cut. Heather was very personable and great with children. Like I stated prior I also made an appointment for a eyebrow waxing. Two ladies were talking about "how" to wax them and how I wanted it done. It seemed a bit odd since many people do not need guidance on waxing. Before starting I did not have confidence that I would come out with both my eyebrows so I ask the lady how long she had been waxing, Her reply" I waxed a lot in school," so inquiring more into her statement I ask how long she had been out of school. She replied," A few weeks.' At that moment I decided that my eyebrows didn't seem so bad and could wait to find an actual stylist. My bridesmaid and I had our updo's there for our wedding. We are about 4 hours away from Texas City so I wasn't able to do a trial run, but I was really excited about going there since they were very nice and tried to accommodate my schedule. I was told we would have two people doing our hair since we were on a tight schedule. Upon arriving, our hair stylist was about 15-20 minutes late. Once we were able to talk to her I found out she was the only one that was doing our hair. I didn't argue, but I did mention that I was told there would be two people because of our schedule and she stated that she was really fast and the "queen of updo's". My bridesmaid and I brought a picture in of exactly what we wanted for our hair as we were told to do, and though it did look pretty, it looked NOTHING like what we wanted. I am disappointed by how they didn't follow what they were saying they were going to do by having another hair stylist. And because they didn't follow that, we were also about an hour late to where we had to be. I went to Envy Salon to get a haircut with bangs added and color. Sat down, told the lady what I wanted, showed her references and she started the dying process. The colors came out okay, a little different than we had discussed, and I also got one strip bleached in the front. When she got done washing my hair the blonde strip was pink from the color bleeding into it. She tells me I can buy purple shampoo to fix it. I sit back down in the chair and she starts trimming. She tries to get me to not cut bangs, telling me she thinks it would be better without it. One of the main reasons I went somewhere to get my hair done was for the bangs. I tell her that, and she grabs the front of my hair and cuts the hair off! No measuring no parting. My bangs are cut into a SQUARE instead of a triangle, and parted because no hair was sectioned.
