I had left a review last time, but wasn’t able to leave a thorough review as I was limited on time.
That being said, I still stand by the fact that their Sakura chocolate taste exactly how I expected it to taste. Like that true Sakura flavor used in Japan. I fell in love with it, so while I’m sad it’s seasonal only, I’m excited for next spring.
Aside from that, we also got their white chocolate marshmallows and I recently had a friend get me a box of their mild Nama chocolate. It’s the perfect amount of chocolate! Those white chocolate marshmallows were delicious too, the white chocolate didn’t taste like wax or artificial.
I know the price may seem like a bit much, but I can tell this chocolate is truly imported from Japan and not just a marketing claim. Not only that but once you try things like their Sakura chocolate, that price honestly doesn’t seem like much.
All that aside, so when I asked my friend if she could get me a box, I had told her to use my number at checkout for rewards right? I was chilling at home but wasn’t near my phone. When I came back, I saw I had a missed call. Shout out to Alisha, she had called me to let me know that my friend seemed to have left some chocolate behind! I called my friend to go back and get her chocolate, she had sent me a photo that they had it all ready and bagged up in case she didn’t come back. Had my name and number on it. And I just thought that was amazing customer service, I feel like many stores don’t do things like that anymore.
I’m always treated so well each time I go too. Not only that, but I feel so lux every time I shop here lol. So what more can I ask for? Amazing customer service, some damn good chocolate that doesn’t take too many blocks for me to cut my craving for it? I look forward to my inevitable future purchases with Royce for...
Read moreI will say I judge a place based off simple things. The first treat from here I tried was their chocolate covered chips. Coming from the east coast we have Grimaldi in FL and Sarris in PA. Chocolate covered chips are usually $15 for 7 ounces. What I got here was barely coated low quality chips that came out to $23 for 6.5 ounces. The bummer was the chocolate on the chips didn’t even taste like the milk chocolate sample we were offered at the front. I may try this place again but messing up on something like chocolate covered chips and them being from japan was a complete let down. I may just have to order some from the other coast. I recommend starting small with this place and find what you like. If it looks to be too expensive it’s probably not worth the price tag. Royce… maybe don’t import chocolate covered chips. A bag of ruffles and that milk chocolate you have will do perfectly fine! I hope to find something here that will give me a...
