Comfort Inn & Suites Tigard near Washington Square — Hotel in Tigard

Hotel Management Ripped us off- - Booked a double queen room online paying in advance. Traveling with family- 2 young kids under 7- we needed 2 beds... After a long travel day... We arrive to a desk that informs me my reservation was only showing for a single bed in their systems- didn't think it was a big deal and show the front desk my reservation confirming the double bed booking... desk shares my booking confirmation for 2 beds with hotel management then management asked me to have my travel credit card company call them. Chase Travel calls management confirmed the double queen room booking- ... But for some reason my confirmation/travel cards verification didn't matter.. Hotel management said their systems showed it was a single bed and didn't honor my booking of double queen beds that was booked and confirmed through a top tier travel partner. Hotel managements solution was to charge us an additional $65 more for 2 beds. I said that $65 was ridiculous and would have been willing to pay a more fair price like $10 just to be done with it because I had young tired kids with me- but hotel management said $65 was as low as they could go... A good hotel would have just put us in one of their many open double bed rooms- I requested a refund and was informed my online booking was non refundable and that it was the travel partners fault their system showed a single/when i booked a double. We refused to pay their $65 upcharge out of principal and left the hotel without checking in-Feeling completely ripped off we are disputing charges with credit card company under fraud and are reaching out choice hotels corp office. You book a double- get a single then are hit up for more money on the double bed when you are in the lobby because hotel management knows you already paid for the room/have no choice. Avoid at all costs- BBB complaint/Choice Corp office...

I will NEVER go to this hotel in my life after my experience. First of all, the place appears to be nice looking when you see the face of the hotel but once I had gotten into my room, I noticed right away there were a massive urine stain that spanned the entire bed underneath the covers, to go along with that the entire room smelled of urine and mildew. The A/C produced a mildew smell and the curtains on the shower were covered in black mold. What was even worse though was the disgusting semen stains on the walls and to make matters worse, underneath the table there was bug poison lined around the moldings which was a very clear health violation. The receptionist, "Julie" was an absolute nightmare to deal with, at first she refused to move us rooms and told us that it was our fault there was urine stains on the bed, which was ludicrous because we had just gotten there and spent maybe 15 minutes in the room. She then refused to refund us and after 20 minutes of arguing the fact that we shouldn't have to sleep on urine covered mattresses she finally agrees to move us to a 1 bedroom room rather than the 2 bedroom place we had before, considering we had 4 people to house we really needed the second bed, but we accepted that room because we assumed it wouldn't be as gross as the previous one. Lo and behold, when we got into the second room and looked under the sheets, we found BEDBUGS crawling all over the bed. At that point we just left the hotel and went to another one because of how unkept and disgusting this hotel was. I will never in my life step foot in this hotel again and I can't believe this hotel is able to run considering how unclean and unprofessional...

Tigard Comfort Inn and Suites on Greenburg Rd is pretty amazing. I've been living here since the middle of January in an ADA accessible room due to being a wheelchair. I have only ran into 2 issues. My normal manual wheelchair would not fit through the room door, but was easily corrected by using a smaller wheelchair. The beds are made super comfy for visitors. Big fluffy blankets and a lil high off the bed. As a wheelchair user who cannot use my legs well, getting in and out of the bed was tough at first. With the use of a slide board issue was resolved. THE STAFF ARE AMAZING!!! Every single person from front desk, management, housekeeping and maintenance go above and beyond to treat you like an individual and not just a paying customer. They take an interest in you as a human. Thank you all so very much. Morning breakfast is from 6-9am. Wide variety and always fresh. They have the usual cereal choices, muffins, bread choices, juices, coffee, hot water dispenser for use with a variety of teas (ramen?). Monday-Thursday they offer eggs, potato patties, and sausage. And Friday- Sunday they have eggs, bacon, potato patties, and sausage gravy with biscuits. And every day they offer make yourself Belgian waffles that you can top with sugar free and regular syrup, jam, peanut butter, or make a breakfast sandwich. The choice is yours. There is a fitness gym available for guest use until 10pm as well as a guest laundry open til 10pm. I can't say enough about how friendly and accommodating the people are. My room became my home. It was comfortable and provided a roll in shower, microwave, mini fridge that can hold a decent amount of grub. I was...
