Pricey chocolates and treats. I purchased 1 truffle, 2 pieces of chocolate, 1 petifor, and 6 honey sticks and it came to just over $26.00. I was also charged for the box they came in to prevent them from being destroyed in a bag. Price isn't the issue but what I expect at that price point is a chocolate that makes me wish I had bought more and a sales associate who is familiar with the products they sell, not a teenager who responds with shoulder shrugs and I don't knows. In my experience, of the 4 pieces, I was unable to finish 2 of them as they were absolutely terrible and no one else in my household was able to eat them either. The petifor was good and the truffle as well but neither entice me to return again to play a high stakes game of Russian roulette, the chocolate edition. I spent a good amount of time choosing what I would take home with me as they have a number of options. They also do not offer any samples so that made decision making a bit more drawn out. I realize taste varies from one person to the next so I gave 3 stars with that taken into consideration. This store is what influenced me to open up my own candy store! That being said, the Washington Square, OR location has been going downhill over the last year or more. At one point I wondered if they were going out of business. I know that Covid made ordering difficult, but half the shelves and bins are empty. And not just the lack of product, the cleanliness of the bulk bins that do have product in them, and the back stock just laying all around the store, make it look very disorganized. I recently tried to use one I received about a year ago, and the girl who swiped it told me that since their system changed, the card isn’t scannable.
