Omg another edit: I'm just going to keep editing this same review until they make a change. It's been over a year since I last came and you'd think they would have gotten it together by now. Good news tho, I finally got to try the buffalo blasts! Bad news, they're still out of ahi tuna. I made the mistake of bringing my family here. My neice wanted the ahi tuna salad. I wanted the ahi nachos. Our waiter later told my neice they were out of the salad but didnt say anything about my nachos so I assumed they used a different tuna? After 30 more min of waiting he finally came back and said they dont have the nachos either. Getting deva vu. So I ended up ordering the avocado tacos. After waiting some more the manager comes over to tell us they are out of the jicama wrap that they use to make the shell. The manager was very nice and spoke to us for a bit and during that time my avocado tacos showed up and they magically had the jicama wrap that I was told they were out of. The manager was just as confused as we were... The whole experience was just awkward and unpleasant. There's something really wrong with this location that I think corporate needs to address.

Another edit: We thought we'd give it another try and unfortunately it was the same situation. No buffalo blasts(I've been wanting to try them for forever but they never ever have them, I dunno why), fine I got the lettuce wraps and they were good but the chicken was a bit dry. Then the manager came back to inform me that they were also out of the entree I chose, the ahi tuna. Really disappointed. Our waitress was great and really helpful with recommendations but unfortunately we will probably not be back.

Edit: finally made it back with a reservation and half of their menu was unavailable. No sandwiches, nothing with shrimp, no tacos, some appetizers unavailable.....seriously? Luckily their menu is huge so obviously we found something to order but not what we originally wanted. Our waitress was very nice and I feel bad that she has to deal with having to tell her customers that half the menu is unavailable.

It was 7pm on a Thursday and we were turned away saying it was a 3 hour wait and they weren't accepting walk ups. There was one couple waiting on the bench. Since when do you need advanced reservations to sit down in a mall and eat a...

Great Drinks, Friendly Service, but the Kitchen Missed the Mark

We stopped by The Cheesecake Factory at Washington Square Mall for a quick bite and cocktail after some shopping. Since it was happy hour, we decided to take advantage. We were warmly greeted in the bar area, which was a nice start.

I ordered a Bloody Mary, and it was absolutely amazing! The bartender mentioned they make their own mix, and it definitely showed—it looked incredible and tasted even better.

While browsing the menu around 4 p.m., we finally decided on the happy hour nachos. When our bartender/waitress came back, she said she managed to get us the happy hour nachos, which surprised us. We hadn’t seen a happy hour menu, and it was already 10 minutes into happy hour. I found it odd that no one had mentioned it earlier, but we were glad to have gotten the deal.

Then came the waiting… and waiting. It took about 25 minutes for the nachos to arrive, and the bar wasn’t even busy—just a couple of people at the bar and a few tables. A different bartender started her shift during our visit, and she was fantastic. Super attentive and really listening. She overheard us joking about how good the bread looked and offered to bring us some. We declined (trying to be good with the calories), but it was great to see that level of attentiveness. If I had wanted the bread, I know she would have brought it without hesitation.

Unfortunately, when the nachos finally arrived, they were a letdown. They were cold, the cheese was burnt on one side, and they lacked pico de gallo (though we got some on the side). The guacamole was also pretty bland.

But honestly, the highlight of our visit ended up being watching the second bartender craft some of the most beautiful drinks I’ve ever seen. These frozen concoctions looked like literal art pieces—bright, colorful, and stunning. I can only imagine how amazing they tasted.

I’ll definitely go back to Cheesecake Factory—it’s always been a favorite—but I left feeling like the kitchen and bar weren’t quite in sync during this visit, especially considering how quiet it was. Still, great drinks and friendly service made...

normally I really love and enjoy going to the cheesecake factory and have a good experience. I look forward to being able to go and pick this spot for special occasions. I get the same thing every time and make a few changes to the order, which has surprisingly never been a problem up until today. me and my partner went to celebrate our three years and honestly did not have a good experience at all. the table we were sat at was very small and at first our server seemed fine but she either didn't put my order in correctly or it was made wrong. it was made the way it normally is and one of the ingredients I ask to not have on there I am allergic to. I told the expo who took it back to the kitchen for remake that I was allergic to avocado, which I had also told my server about. (I understand this is a weird allergy people do not see often so I am very understanding and was as nice as possible about the error). another person about five minutes later came out and confirmed that it needed to be completely remade from scratch due to me being allergic to avocado and it making my mouth swell and it makes ke feel sick and even sometimes throw up. all of this was great and I appreciated it until I received my "remade food". the chicken was cold and hard and as I started eating I realized it was the same food with just the stuff picked out, but poorly done. we ended up just leaving due to me starting to have an allergic reaction and being disappointed in the kitchens behavior in this situation. I just don't understand why a person would come to my table to confirm it needed to be remade due to an allergy for the kitchen to not remake the food. I don't necessarily blame the server seeing she wasn't the one to run out food so it was not pre-checked by her to ensure it was correct. anyways typically I have an amazing experience but today really disappointed and definitely wasn't the best dinner to celebrate and...

I've had absolutely THE WORST experience tonight and if I could, I would give this location a negative score, because of the quality of the food and the non existent customer service from the new manager Brian. My daughter ordered her favorite Chicken Fettuccine Alfredo pasta and I had the eggrolls sampler. When the pasta arrived, my daughter noticed that it was chunky and stuck together. We pointed it out to the waitress and she notified the manager who offered her a cup of soup, which she denied and asked for another appetizer to enjoy while waiting for the pasta to be redone. While waiting, we heard numerous excuses from the waitress and later from the manager that they've got a bad batch of pasta, but the new one should be perfect as usual. To our surprise, the new batch was just as bad, if not worse, so we sent it back and asked for the check. Once again, to our surprise, we were charged for both appetizers, even though as offered from the manager, we expected the second one to be complimentary. We've waited 40 minutes to get a table, 40 minutes for the first order to arrive and another 10 minutes for it to be redone and after both orders were bellow par, the manager did not provide any customer service, instead, he let my daughter walk out of the restaurant hungry, without dinner, because as I reminded him that he offered the second appetizer as complimentary, he took the appetizer away to the kitchen and corrected the bill to showing only one appetizer. I've never seen such non-existent customer service, which doesn't make things right, but leaves customers hungry and extremely frustrated to the point they feel the need to leave a review and share their experience. As you can understand, I will not be returning while this manager is in this restaurant! I recommend you avoid it as well! The frustrating experience is just not worth the wait!!! Not anymore!

Everywhere in The Cheesecake Factory the objective profile of America, down to the morphology of individuals and of the crowd, is drawn. All its values are exalted by the miniature and the comic strip. Embalmed and pacified. Whence the possibility of an ideological analysis of The Cheesecake Factory: digest of the American way of life, panegyric of American values, idealized transposition of a contradictory reality. Certainly. But this masks something else and this "ideological" blanket functions as a cover for a simulation of the third order: The Cheesecake Factory exists in order to hide that it is the "real" country, all of "real" America that is The Cheesecake Factory (a bit like prisons are there to hide that it is the social in its entirety, in its banal omnipresence, that is carceral). The Cheesecake Factory is presented as imaginary in order to make us believe that the rest is real, whereas all of Beaverton and the America that surrounds it are no longer real, but belong to the hyperreal order and to the order of simulation. It is no longer a question of a false representation of reality (ideology) but of concealing the fact that the real is no longer real, and thus of saving the reality principle. The imaginary of The Cheesecake Factory is neither true nor false, it is a deterrence machine set up in order to rejuvenate the fiction of the real in the opposite camp. Whence the debility of this imaginary, its infantile degeneration. This world wants to be childish in order to make us believe that the adults are elsewhere, in the "real" world, and to conceal the fact that true childishness is everywhere - that it is that of the adults themselves who come here to act the child in order to foster illusions as to their real childishness.
