I've had so many problems at this nail salon it's not even funny. One time they messed up my nails I came back they made me pay again to get them redone by a different person. Another time they did my eyelashes and they put too much glue in my eye swelled up. They did not take ownership of their part in any of the situations that happened at their nail salon. Just recently I got my nails done and I told them I wanted French tip. And instead of doing it with the acrylic she wanted to paint it on I don't know why she didn't do it with the cut out metal piece and the acrylic instead of the Polish. But I was like whatever I'll go along with it. I told her to use regular polish and when she was doing it I asked her if it was regular polish and she said yes. She did the French manicure and they were all slanted and ugly looking so I said just go ahead and do the whole nail one color. When it was time to pay I noticed that they charged me for gel which I specifically told her not to use. The guy at the register said well you know it wouldn't have looked as good if you hadn't used gel and I said that's not the point. The point is I told her not to use gel. It's always something every time I go and I tried to give them numerous of trys because they are close to where I live but I guess I'm going to have to find another nail salon. Stay away from this place. There's better places out there. There has to be because this place is terrible. They need to learn to take accountability when they mess up. Which they do often. Most of their nail techs don't know what they doing and seem to have little experience doing now. I also told the lady that was doing my pedicure to take the sides out of my big toes. You know the extra skin that grows in the side of your nail and makes it hurt. She didn't do it. They can't follow simple instructions. They do a rush job collect the money and send you on about your way. You can't tell him anything because they think they know everything. And I think they are always right. They charge extra for any and everything that they can to get over on people. Their prices are ridiculous. Sometimes paying extra will get you better service but with this...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreAs I sit here in a state of absolute bliss (I called Maria and her husband in order to schedule an appointment for a pedi as I'm 37 weeks pregnant and I finally convinced my mother to get one after years of her telling me no -- so in other words, a SPECIAL pedi for us both). They were able to schedule us for a 1:30 pm instantly and easily. Tan was my mom's tech. Tiffany was my tech. They were both incredibly PHENOMENAL. Tiffany was perfectly gentle and thorough (I am particular about our pedi experiences and the staff and management at Lumiere are always Top Notch and go above and beyond). Maria, the owner, treated us with a couple of chocolate covered strawberries to make the special mother-daughter day even more spectacular. The bartender (forgive me I forgot her name) was superb and made us an infused water with raspberries and strawberries... delicious! Thank y'all so much for yet ANOTHER wonderful experience! I think y'all converted my mother to an enthusiast of a good pedi and she's already talking about making a once a month date with my dad, how special is that! She's all smiles right now, as am I. 9/28/25 update: Maria and her husband do a SPECTACULAR job at keeping up with the seasons⦠weāre now in fall, and their salon is so beautifully and perfectly decorated with fall decor, as well a seasonal pedicure flavors (pumpkin spice latte) which is what I got for my husband and I got the milk and honey with shellac ā TIM is awesome!!! Hannah is working on my husband and heās as happy as a clam. My husbandās pedi came with a charcuterie board and a mimosa, and as an early morning pampering session for us both (todayās a date as the kids are home with the grandparents) once again⦠Lumiere has overachieved and given us an incredible pedicure and customer service. I WAS JUST TOLD TO CALL BECAUSE THE RESPONSE THEY REPLIED WITH WAS THEY WOULD HAVE BEEN UNHAPPY WITH THE SERVICES AS WELL AND THEY WANTED TO MAKE IT RIGHT." SHE OFFERED A 10% OFF DISCOUNT AND SAID THERE'S NOTHING SHE COULD OFFER IN REGARD TO MY DAUGHTER'S BOTCHED PEDICURE. NO THANKS. Y'ALL ARE OFFERING THE SAME DISCOUNT OF 10% OFF TO EVERYONE RIGHT NOW, SO IT'S NOT WORTH MY TIME OR HARD EARNED MONEY. WE'LL FIND ANOTHER SALON THAT STANDS BY THEIR WORK AND DOESN'T MAKE US FEEL LIKE WE'RE THE PROBLEM. PLENTY OF OTHER SALONS CLOSER TO US, BUT WE CHOSE THIS SALON. LESSON LEARNED. GET A NEW FRONT DESK RECEPTIONIST BECAUSE IF YOU DON'T LOOK LIKE A SOCCER MOM DRIVING A $70,000 SUV, THEY'LL DISREGARD YOU LIKE TRASH! DISAPPOINTED IS AN UNDERSTATEMENT.*
The staff was friendly and the inside is gorgeous, however, I brought my daughter here for her birthday mani and pedicure. I also received a pedicure. Unfortunately, the pedicure lady spilt DARK blue polish all over her foot and poured acetone on her foot, and didn't bother washing it off and reapplying the lotion the acetone ate off. She also cut her toe cuticles up, so her pedi was uncomfortable the entire time. We told the front desk lady about the experience. Also the gem on her index finger fell off in 24 hours. My pedicure was nice though, no complaints, but it wasn't my birthday we were celebrating ... We wanted to love this salon but we're disappointed after dropping $150. Also, wasn't given a punch card for my daughter even though I paid for hers with a card and mine with cash. Seemed a little greedy since we're two separate persons. Hopefully, y'all are willing to...
