OK..HERES THE DEAL. Great deals here people. Im a Disabled Navy Veteran 100 % disabled. I have an injured spine, a lotta pain, all the time. My wife and I went to ALL the Matress stores in Topeka. We checked out every bed. Now..mind you..we did like the Sealy a lot..very comfortable. BUT FOLKS..here's the deal my friends..when you're injured like I am..in pain a LOT..YA WANT A BED THAT WILL SING TO YA AND DO YOUR DISHES and pay your bills. Well...I did get 1 of those 3. The bed we chose was called THE AMERICAN STAR...not a well known bed..a fairly new Company in Texas. BUT LET ME TELL YOU...I layed on that bed..a Queen size...and...ummm....the manager almost couldn't get me out of it. He raised my legs using the motorized platform and raised my back...my pain..was almost gone..I didn't want to move. I told my wife at the same time she was telling me....WE GOTTA GET THIS BED..WE'D BE CRAZY NOT TO. I'm a miser..I hate spending money..but..to be honest..I believe this is a wise choice for us. The bed was THEEE MOST COMFORTABLE BED I have ever layed on..no lies.no B.S. I felt like I was floating on a cloud with very little pain. We bought a Queen size..15 hundred dollars..but..I can't put a price on my health and I need a good night's rest. I get it on the 26th of September 2025...today's date is the 20th. Bummer I have to wait for it but it's worth it. They said they'd set it up for us as well. The store manager is very polite and nice. Ya gotta check out the bed..THE AMERICAN STAR...IM TELLEN YA...you won't regret buying it. Oh..by the way..the store smelled good...not mildew smelling..like most Topeka stores. Their selection of beds are great by the way and the prices aren't too out of sight. They can finance as well. I do not regret my decision. Ā Ā Ā Read moreI had a warranty claim that took nearly two months to get approved. I was told it was approved and that the manager would be there until 5 that day and the store would be open till 8. I was also told they could have it delivered between 12-3 the next day (today), I told the manager Iād be in that day most likely before 5. I was in shortly after 4. I was told the manager wasnāt in that day. When I mentioned my situation that story changed. The lady working didnāt know how to complete the sale. She said she didnāt know whether to ring it as a warranty claim or something else??. I mentioned that I was hoping to have it delivered the next day. She told me it wouldnāt be delivered if the sale wasnāt completed and she couldnāt get ahold of the manager. I asked if she could take my card over the phone that night to complete the sale and she said she could (score one point for me solving an issue for them. Even though it shouldnāt have been an issue.) The last I heard from that store at all was a text from her last night saying she still hadnāt gotten ahold of the manager. I have heard nothing today, which isnāt surprising since every time I have been in there they are super busy with. ABSOLUTELY NO ONE in the store. Ā Ā Ā Read moreWe arrived at the store shortly after 4 pm. When we arrived we found a salesperson asleep at the desk. We stood around talking for a few minutes before he woke up. After he woke up he did at least ask what we were looking for but never introduced himself or asked for our names. After telling him what we would like to see he pointed at 3 mattresses and shouted the prices and said they were 50% off then returned to his chair. After looking at the prices it was clear it was not 50% off. We had to walk across the store to ask our questions about the prices. Then we found out we had to order most of what we wanted. At that point we decided to look elsewhere. Mostly because the lack of professionalism was very prevalent with this particular employee. The we found Rich across the street at Kansas Furniture Mall. Your guy should go over there as a fake customer so he might have an opportunity to learn something. Not only was the experience better at furniture mall, so was the product quality and price!!!
