Famous Footwear:

This is one of the only shoe stores left in Topeka!! Given that, They try!!... Staff is friendly and will definitely help you out and are knowledgeable.. They are short staffed though... At least that's been my experiences!! So cut the employees some slack when it's busy!! I am a man and have big feet (13-14).. Given that it dendends on the shoes and how they fit.. There are Plenty of big shoe sizes there and over 3 or 4 different brands.!! There is always a fair amount of clearance shoes!!.... They sell Kids shoes and Womens as well.. My only complaint would be pricing!! For me I know I am going to pay at least anywhere from $80-120... This was before inflation, so it might be higher now.. They do have Rewards though so if you don't have that you should sign up!! They give you $10 off total purchase on your Birthday..

Cicis:

Budget food!!, health hazards, horrible staff with an exception of one or two people, little English speaking staff, revolving door of staff members. Don't let the clean inside fool you. I'm pretty sure this place would be shut down if they set up cameras in the kitchen!!

TARGET:

It's a Target... nothing horrible, nothing great... If you are a Big and/or Tall person, this is Not the place to shop for clothes!!

Dollar Tree:

Probably the best one in town as far as the variety and amount of items here.. Number of staff is low and when it gets busy everyone there starts to get stressed out! They have self checkouts now, which helps with keeping the line moving..

I have nothing to offer as a review of the other stores there, only because I have bot used them..

Parking is adequate!! Security is....well they are there... seldom seen... keep valuables out of sight and make sure your vehicle is locked before walking away.. Fair share of "Asking for money" people wondering through the parking lot especially when it's busy!!!

The Target is the worst low-lit maze from hell. I can never find what I'm looking for and always get confused here. I don't feel happy at this Target like I do at other ones. One time at the cafe I got chicken fingers that were still frozen in the middle. Cici's is run down, sticky, and dirty. Almost every arcade game is out of order and the built-up grime makes your shoes stick to the floor so bad it is hard to walk. The fountain drinks have random beverages that aren't what's labeled and the TVs weren't even on. The bathroom is also gross. The dollar store is likewise run down and dirty. The bathroom is an absolute joke. Carters used to be great but it shut down. Haven't been in the other stores in a long time. I'm sure famous footwear is still nice and the new Ashley furniture has...

I was shopping at the Dollar Tree last week. First time since it became what I call the Dollar plus store. However, as a whole, I like the stores in West Ridge Plaza. I shopped in all the stores except Ashley Furniture or gone to Planet Fitness to work out. I have been to this gym in NM. I like that it has a location here in Topeka. I remember when Famous Footwear was the kids play place, Magic Forest (I think that's what it was called). Stores have come and gone in the last 20+ years, but this shopping strip mall has stayed consistent to house stores and eateries to cater to Topeka citizens. I'd give it 5 start if Boston Market was still there (lol, just jokes), but Noodles & Co is...
