I was looking for another store, when I came upon Goodwill. I decided to go inside and see if I could find a footstool. I found something close to what I was looking for, as I came up to the checkout, I seen two older women, who was checking out, I asked for the Senior discount and was told that the Senior discount, couldn't be applied to my purchases. I asked the Checker why, and he said because I would have to come back on Sunday or Monday. I explained To the Cashier, that I didn't live in the area and that I could not make it back on those days. I asked him if I could use my AARP card this one time, and he said, he couldn't do it and would his Manager, the Cashier was polite, but the Manager was rude and said she couldn't accommodate any of us. This woman standing in line with me, was 93 years old and her daughter was 78 years old, I myself, is 72 years old. The Manager told all Three of us, that she would not honor anything we were asking for, because she said, that if she gave the discount to us, she would lose her Job, and that we wouldn't want a Stranger living with us. How Horrible was that for her to say, because isn't that, why she is the Manager? She was so loud and rude, and without talking to us further, rudely walked off and didn't apologize for her attitude. I didn't even purchase the footstool, because of her attitude!!!!! All three of us left the store hurt because we couldn't get any Satisfaction. The store, was unkept, sloppy, and had only two people working. I wouldn't send, My worst enemy to this Location or Goodwill, Torrance, California. Read moreHad an issue with a gift pass. The pass had an expiration date on it which had passed. However right under the date the pass started that in California their is no expiration. They would not take the passes. The passes were torn in half and thrown away by my family after the employee refused to use them. My family paid full price for admission. I had my pass at home and read the printing below the expiration date. I called the customer service number for the theatre. Since that department was closed at the time I left a message. The recording doesn't give you enough time to say anything so I had to callback a couple of times and leave the message . 3 days later and still have not received a phone call from them. As of now I will not go there anymore. We used that place a lot. They just lost my business. They need more training and follow on complaints on a...
