Update, parking lot roads seen better, haven't hit any major potholes lately, that's cool. they have been bad for years now, not sure if that's Walmart or complex owner, same situation in Pittsfield MA Walmart parking lot. I try not to shop at Walmart, the one in Pittsfield, MA lied about balancing my tires correctly, did not air or torque my wheels correctly, then when back and pointed it out , and once again they lied about air pressure, can not tell about torque, also put a wheel on incorrectly and stripped several of my lug nuts, I then had AAA put them back on correctly and recorded proof from driver. Called corporate Walmart was told id be called back within 3 days by store manager. After I was not called back in 3 days, I called the store asking to speak to store manager, they said he was on vacation, asked to speak to Assistant store manager, they forwarded me to the automotive department and the person who was in charge the few days before when my vehicle was improperly serviced , said that they were the Assistant manager, and said that it didn't matter that I had a case with corporate and said I had to bring the vehicle back in. Well that ended that because I would never let that crew touch my vehicle again, after being cheated out of a service plan I paid for with tires I bought there, lied to about service that wasn't performed or performed incorrectly, destruction of my property, and then someone posing as the assistant store manager I would recommend against getting any work done at the Pittsfield Massachusetts Walmart and I would also recommend avoiding their (Walmarts) parking lots so your vehicle doesn't get destroyed trying to avoid the outrageous potholes. I understand this isn't the Pittsfield, MA Walmart but this review came up this morning and I felt like telling a story. So that's my 2 cents about Torrington Fair, other than that Market 32 is a decent grocery store, the Michaels is clean and helpful staff, haven't been in Petco in years and think all pet stores should be closed, McDonald's that's a whole other issue. I think that's about it..... When I go back I'll try and remember to take pictures of the parking lot and drives...
Read moreI went there a few weeks ago and unfortunately went through the self check out. A nice young girl asked me if I would like help and I said absolutely, seeing as how I am not a Walmart employee and should not have to do their job for THEM! The young lady said that I was all set! So I began to wheel my cart away! A middle eastern woman yelled SIR STOP! I almost put my hands in the air and had no clue what the problem was! She said after watching the other young lady ring up my items! That she needed to ring all the items AGAIN! I had to wait all over again and she was correct! The paper towels were not rung up! I maybe a lot of things but I am not a thief! I was extremely embarrassed and I was treated like a criminal and I will never go thru the self check out AGAIN! FA/Q LADY ! The situation was not handled properly or...
Read moreEver since the corona virus 😷 forced people to stay in place and limit their shopping as much as possible. Walmart has taken it's crowded looking store and opened up many of the store aisles. There is a set limit to the number of people who can enter the store at one time. Generally it is a relatively short wait. Walmart has put arrows in each aisle to keep things moving and expect social distancing. Sadly there are too many people who cluster at the end of aisles who make social distancing useless for other shoppers.
The store looks much brighter and the employees seem much happier. Come and check out the new look at Walmart and be prepared to dance around the thoughtless shoppers who are now the face of selfishness and...
