Five Guys — Restaurant in Torrington

Really excited that a five guys opened in torrington, but then I tried it. The milkshake was the best thing we ordered. Burger was dry, bacon had no flavor, and bun was somehow stale even though they recently opened. Fries were the biggest disappointment. They were salty, soggy, and undercooked, no crispy fries to be found (which I didn't notice until I got home). Also really disappointed that they don't do what other locations do and put an extra scoop of fries in the bag. These fries were grossly overpriced for the amount we received. Food cost is extremely low for potatoes, they either need to lower prices or increase portions. How hard is it to get an order right. Just horrible service here. Ordered on door dash which was a mistake. I asked for Cajun fries and got regular fries. If I wanted regular fries I would have we to McDonald's. The only reason I get 5 guys is because of the Cajun fries. The Way back has better burgers, but bland fries, so I wanted 5 guys, but they couldn't even get my fry order correct. And then they put the hot sauce on my burger, so my burger is delivered soggy. Most 5 guys pit the hot sauce in a container on the side, but not these incompetent employees. Hell, they couldn't even get the fries order correct. 5 Stars ⭐️ to All of You…… Burgers are 100% All Beef… Absolutely delicious!! The Best Fries Ever….All Foods are Freshly Cooked Per Order. Free Toppings including Lettuce, Tomatoes, Onions, Even Grilled Onions & Mushrooms, pickles Etc. This is not a typical fast food like McDonald’s or Wendy’s. No Comparison. Way Better Here at 5 Guys. The Restaurant and restrooms are VERY CLEAN!! The staff is professional but so very nice and welcoming!! Would like to Extend a Special Thank you to Debra for Always Welcoming us!
