S & P Furniture — Attraction in Town of Babylon

My Mother passed away recently, I made arrangements with these guys to purchase and pick up some of her furniture. They low balled me but I didn’t care, I probably would have given it to them for free had they showed up as promised. I waited a few hours on the scheduled pick up day and gave them a call. The guy says he’s on the truck and has two more stops to make and the truck is getting full. I said no problem just give me a call back if you can’t make it. So, he never shows up and doesn’t call back. I had left work early and wasted half my day for nothing. A few days later I go down to the store, one of the guys apologizes several times and says the other guy will call me. Well, small miracle, he does call me. He apologized and makes arrangements with me to pick up the following Friday. Well, the following Friday I wait all day and he doesn’t show up AGAIN! Moral of the story, BEWARE if you do business with these guys. Their business of taking advantage of people must be doing very well, because they just don’t care. I’m sure they wouldn’t like it if someone did...

I would never want to buy from this place. Sad I called to buy one of their bikes for my son and the guy had such a bad attitude just because I was asking for pricing before I sent my wife to go and get it. It sucks because you trying to help your local neighborhood stores and you get really bad attitudes like they don’t need our business . Is all good. Great little spot for unique vintage finds! The team at S & P Furniture was super friendly and helpful from the moment I walked in.
