I used to go to this Wegmans all the time but I've had so many bad experiences I will not be going back. The worst one was when a cashier rang out the person behind me on my credit card. Don't ask me how but I paid for $250 worth of their groceries and all I bought was a $9 bottle of Southern Tier Pump-King ale, and I didnt get my money back for a week even though I called them an hour after it happened and I was told to come in the next morning between 9am and 5pm. Then tonight I was in the area and figured I'd stop in to get my groceries, only to have a majority of the back products and soap area blocked off because they were waxing the floor, ok no problem, I simply asked a guy who was walking around in it if he could just simply grab me something. I don't believe he spoke English very well because he just kept yelling "NO! WAXED FLOOR!" He was literally standing 5 ft from what I needed and he refused to help me. Then I go to the register and there are no lights on, no one standing their, the cashier is over talking to someone in an office, I stand there for 5-10 minutes waiting and by time she comes over there's 4...
Read moreI have to eat gluten free. All I hear is that Wegman's has loads of gluten free items. Yes, there are a lot of them but the inventory varies greatly from visit to visit. For example, there are these wonderful wafers that come in 3 flavors:. Lemon, vanilla and chocolate. The majority of times I look for the lemon wafers they are not there but the other two flavors are. Seems to me the store could order more lemon and less of the other two since they don't sell as well. I like Smart Flour regular pizza (not the marguerita) one. This hasn't been available for weeks when I've been shopping and I have some great coupons that will expire at the end of the year. Smart Flour makes other products as well and , of course, none were available. Also, sometimes the gluten free food is with gluten free food and sometimes it is mixed with similar "regular" food. I don't know where it is and I'm too sick to look. I am a regular Price Chopper customer and only go to Wegmans when I need something gluten free that Price Chopper may not have. I will probably stop going there because it just isn't worth...
Read more4 Stars because it's Wegmans, but not 5 stars because this store is oddly under-par. It's constantly busy, which is understandable, but the products don't match demand. I've purchased 1 day past expiration produce here without realizing (now I check dates). Bagged produce is frequently expired, or 1 to 2 days til expiration... The other days I saw FRUIT FLIES over some definitely rotten melons. WHAT! Stock is not kept full hardly ever, and I can't seem to find the same products that I find at other Wegmans... The bakery section is dismal and empty most of the time, and the olive bar is lack-luster. I'm originally from the Binghamton area, where there is 1 Wegmans, and it's immaculate at all times. I'm happy to be in the land-o-plenty-Wegmans now, but this one is closest to my home... I understand this might be a smaller store, and obv I'll continue shopping here because I'm Ride or Die Wegmans Loyalist, but someone needs to step in here and take this store to the level it needs to be at in order to bear the...
