Samantha (Sam) was truly born to pierce kids’ ears! I brought my 10-year-old daughter last weekend and we were warmly greeted by Margaret, who carefully explained all the details about earrings. We chose to upgrade to shinier studs (the upgrade was very reasonably priced), though smaller studs are included at no extra cost. We also brought hoops we had at home, but they recommend studs for better and faster healing — and it made perfect sense. No more twisting you might had been doing 20-30 years ago!

Sam was amazing — extremely helpful, knowledgeable, and walked us through the process step-by-step in a calm, methodical way. If you're like me and have never been to a piercing studio (and if pediatricians no longer do it, and mall places like Claire’s have caused infections for so many girls in my daughter’s class), this is the place to go. They use a brand-new needle for each ear (completely sterile), and Sam changed her gloves multiple times during the setup/procedure. The whole piercing process was super quick and painless.

Tip for more conservative moms: This isn't a traditional pediatrician’s office or spa — the studio has an edgier vibe (some skull décor and bold clothing styles), and they offer a full range of piercings for adults too. But everything is clean, professional, and the staff is wonderful with kids. They also use curtains for privacy.

I cannot recommend this studio enough. From the start you are greeted very kindly, everyone is very kind and Sam the piercer is so sweet. I went in a little indecisive but Sam did a thorough consultation and was very helpful. She made sure I knew exactly what we were going to do before I went into the back to get pierced, and is not pushy at all. She takes her time and makes sure you are comfortable, makes great conversation and is very transparent.

The shop is very clean, and everything was sanitized and cleaned in front of you, and gloves are changed very frequently. In the price of the piercing some jewelry selections are included and Sam does not push you at all to upgrade, however there are some absolutely gorgeous selections in shop if you choose to upgrade. It was the best experience I have had in a shop, while also being the least painful piercing I have gotten. Sam closed with aftercare and downsize instructions.

Rick & Stephanie are amazing. Okay quick story time.. I had been wanting to get a tattoo for a while at least since late October early November from a tattoo artist in Middletown. Long story short, it wasn't in the cards. After that a friend of mine had mentioned the studio to me because they themselves were going to be getting a tattoo. I had met with Rick on Tuesday, told him my idea and the very next day I was getting a tattoo. It was actually supposed to be a completely different thing. I have four already. The tattoo that Rick is currently working on is a cover-up for me it was my first ever tattoo that he's fixing up that I love very much and it'll be finished actually on my next session. Not only are they amazing tattoo artists but phenomenal people. That make you feel extremely comfortable and welcomed like family. Without question my favorite tattoo shop.
