I came 5mins before closing and no one let me in. I seen a guy run in 2mins later at 8:57pm and they let him in and let him purchase. Im not sure why they let him in to purchase but not me. I think that was very unfair. And also I dont think the doors should be locked before closing. You could have made another sale from a person that came before him. Im very confused. It was really unfair and morally wrong to let another guy in after me when I asked to come in. Is that the policy for your store to lock 5mins before? And also... why do you let a guy in after me when this guy came after me? Im not sure of the situation but that is completely not fair how a person that came after me was let in and got to buy what they wanted. Im not sure what the issue is. This is very very and extremely upsetting. I really trusted you and have gone to this location so many times. I dont like this treatment. It rubs me the wrong way. I literally do not know what is the deal. I really in my heart hope you fix this issue. Whoever is the general manager or store director or whatever you guys call the head boss. I cannot believe what I saw. Im very sad in my heart. It is not fair how you let in a guy and let him buy something but not me 2mins before. I really really hope that you guys can fix this and improve in your store. Im a retail manager and from my experience... you do not close the doors prior to closing. And you DO NOT deny anyone service no matter race, gender, religion, etc. This feels like it was a gender thing but Im not sure. The guy that was let in was the same race as me. It must have been a gender thing. I really DO NOT appreciate that. Women can buy alcohol too. It should not be gender specific. Again.... I really hope you guys can be correct with closing and locking the doors at closing hours and not denying anyone a sale. I could not believe that you guys didnt let me in but let a male come in 2mins later and buy something. I really hope you guys review and take notes from this because that was crazy in my opinion. I couldnt believe it. Im literally like... speachless. I dont think I have a handicap or anything. And even if I did.... you treat everyone the same. Again.... im very sad. Im very hurt. It hurts me in my heart that this happened. It doesnt make sense to me. At this point I want to be a guy so I could be let into your place but im not. I wish you workers could view a man and a woman the same. We are all people and human beings. I dont think anything should be different between us. Again, it was completed unfair you guys letting in a male 2mins after I tried to go in. This just has me so confused. Again... please treat everyone the same. Let anyone in before closing and until the closing. Please do not judge by race, gender, religion, etc. Please please and please. This was a very upsetting night for me. I just cant believe this. I have no words. Im just so sad. Why come a man can get stuff but not me?i really do not understand. Im so confused and I cannot express it enough. Please do the right thing in the future! Please be right to your customers. Please dont deny anyone service. I would never EVER do that to one of my customers at my job. Im very sad I was denied service and then a guy comes 2mins later and is let in. Again, it doesnt make any sense. Honestly.... whatever it was being maybe race, religion, gender.... NO one should have been denied. And then to see a guy come 2mins after and be let in.... thats crazy. Again I have no idea what to think. I question myself. I question life. Why was I denied service? I really do not know. I wish I knew. Im just very suprised about this. I really really hope that you dont do this to anyone else. I dont want anyone to feel sad or judged for whatever race, gender, religion, etc. I dont want anyone sad and I just felt sad. I dont want anyone sad. I dont want anyone feeling bad or anything negative. I dont want anything negative for anyone. Please dont repeat this. Please dont do this to anyone else. Again... this was so sad. I dont...
Read moreI have been a regular customer here but lately the sales prices are really not sales at all. I also noticed that ALL of the red wines from the Napa Valley area were abruptly removed from the racks as well as their labels and prices. This indicates a ploy to remove these wines and reprice higher when they reappear. That's a shabby way to do business. Accordingly I am rating this store with 1 Star.
*Update: Those wines from the Napa Valley that suddenly disappeared 2 or 3 weeks ago have reappeared on the racks now priced at $40 per bottle. They were previously $18 -$19 per bottle. I have found another wine store in the area that does not play this game and will shop...
Read moreIn my humble opinion, one of the better liquor stores in the area. Their prices are fair, I've been lucky to go while their bottles of champagne were on sale and walked out with some serious savings. They also carry a wide selection of whiskey, was able to snag a bottle of a Japanese whiskey that I had been looking for. Their staff is pretty knowledgeable and they usually have some pretty good tastings, if anything it's worth the stop before food shopping at shop rite... I get a as many samples as I can then walk it off...
